juniperb.....you've never crossed the bridge??? I can't count how many times I've crossed it (always thrilling), and I even crossed the straits in a ferry one time, before there was a bridge. (How's that for dating me? tee hee)..... I love the Yupper food too...especially the pasties....and the Makinaw fudge....yum yummmm... Do you have a bridge phobia???? One of my sisters has one...hates bridges of all kinds...*sigh*... And yes....I guess I am a troll, seeings how I live "under the bridge" too...  Proxie........I was at work the first time I saw your postings and didn't realize that you also had pictures of Ireland....*sigh*....they are great too... Luv,

Oh yes I`ve been over the bridge . I just dreaded it... The last time we went over, we got blew into the center median & I almost fainted & said never again.  I`ll take the boat thank you!!
I never feared bridges til an "almost" accident on the Cooper River Bridge in Charleston, S.C. We were stuck on it for hours and I slowly became paranoid & never really shed the fear. Hmfpt & I water bearer

Juniperb......sounds like kind of a bad experience for you on that bridge...*sigh*......anyway....I kinda cheated by posting that Kinkade painting, so now I think I'll do a little PR for my home state Michigan, which I think is beautiful..... Mackinaw Island, which allows no motor vehicles....
Mackinaw Island Marina..typical of the many in Michigan
Last, but not least, the very grand,GRAND HOTEL, on the Island (I've been there...it's kewl!), that was in the movie, SOMEWHERE IN TIME, which was made on the island and starred Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymore....

As far as I know, you can only post images that're already online (if there's a way to post them off of a hard drive, let me know ).

Yeah proxieme! I took a look at the UBB Code link where it all is explained, but the problem was that I tried with the wrong site, the pictures there where not in any .gif .jpg or similar format, it was something strange...

I am living in Los Angeles and have been for 3 years now. It's not "home" though. I did live in NYC for 13 years. That was closer to home, I think. I was born in Arizona.. and spent a good part of my childhood in Texas and a little in Wisconsin.
