Not me, I won't. Too depressing. The King of Pop might watch, he posted the 3 million. Even if he was still in, he's rich enough to probably get the priviledge of tv in the big house.

Who really killed JFK will never be revealed by the modern media. They probably just danced around the issue and claim that Lee Harvey Oswald killed him all along. And there is no such thing as concipiracies and so on and so forth. They even have his brother saying it's the truth. But I still don't buy it, I feel deeply that it's a load of bull.

The media is bad news, there is no way of knowing for sure that they're ever telling us the truth. We can only hope they are. I also missed the show because it's too depressing and outrageous to watch and hear about his sad life.

What I find amazing is how deeply JFK Jr's death seemed to affect the nation. I doubt people would feel the same way nowadays.

With all the events that has happened within the last 50 some-odd-years,I'm under the impression that we are nothing more then like cattle and they are the ranchers, just veering us off to whatever direction that they want us to go. Heedless to the sacrifices that they must make.

hi ozonefiller,

on the one hand, i agree with you b/c i see a lot of that in society at large; even in myself. friedrich nietzsche first wrote about herd mentality in a couple of his books, in the early 20th century. the mass mentality extends beyond ranchers and cattle, b/c sometimes there are no ranchers! food for thought

on the other hand, there is mentality characterized as fringe under the veils of secrecy, underground, entertainment, and most especially the veil of powerless marginalization. the unherd/heard stories.

if i had another hand, ( ) the whole realm of the subconscious --- remains to be high proprietary territory --- do we dreams as herds and go through REMs that reinforce what ranchers want us to do, or . . . ?

k, the geeky aphy awaits replies . . .

Sheep:
Harmlessly passing your time in the grassland away
Only dimly aware of a certain unease in the air
You better watch out
There may be dogs about
I've looked over Jordan and I have seen
Things are not what they seem.

What do you get for pretending the danger's not real
Meek and obedient you follow the leader
Down well trodden corridors into the valley of steel
What a surprise!
A look of terminal shock in your eyes
Now things are really what they seem
No, this is no bad dream.

The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want
He makes me down to lie
Through pastures green he leadeth me the silent waters by
With bright knives he releaseth my soul
He maketh me to hang on hooks in high places
He converteth me to lamb cutlets
For lo,m he hath great power and great hunger
When cometh the day we lowly ones
Through quiet reflection and great dedication
Master the art of karate
Lo, we shall rise up
And then we'll make the bugger's eyes water.

Blasting and bubbling I fell on his neck with a scream
Wave upon wave of demented avengers
March cheerfully out of obscurity into the dream.

Have you heard the news?
The dogs are dead!
You better stay home
And do as you're told
Get out of the road if you want to grow old.

Herd animals do not need a rancher to be followers.

Anyone that raises cattle knows that the rancher has the least control over the herd, which is why he and his cowboys must go out there day after day to "Check cows".

Why do they herd? Well, it's a learned defense technique (not, as some would believe a mentality used to be dimwitted followers).

A herd looks huge to a predator. They guard their young and infirm in the middle of the herd, keeping them safe. They run together to make it harder for the predator to attack...leaving the weak ones to be picked off.

Animals are social and cows are very much so. They tend to be very curious and like to explore their territory, tearing down fences (check out that weary cowboy that has to keep going out there mended the fences...no fun when they break out at 3am in December).

Dairy cows are even more curious. They will move, in herd style (once again to appear large and overwhelming) to check out the new "thing" in their pen. New could be another animal or a human.

Wild horses form herds. Again to protect their territory, young and for the Stallion - his chiquitas. They follow the male...until he grows weak or another takes his place.

Therefore, humans are not like cows or other herd animals. Instead we are the only organism that CHOOSES to follow and idiot or idiot ideology becase we "Like". No one is prodding us or moving us..we do not herd up for protection and many times when our stallions are weak, we just send them more money.

Ozone,

I see you going after Texan's and ranchers ALOT in your examples. Do you do this because you hate Bush so much or are you a former Texas cattle rancher?

Also, you might be thinking of feedlots where the finished cows are kept in large pens. Even then, they scatter and don't follow the rancher.

I'm just curious.

Look Pidaua,

I would normally keep my word about NOT writing to you anything, but you've been trying for weeks(I see) to put me on the spot and now you've found it. If I remain quiet,I would only give the other peers of ours the impression that you "GOT ME!".I'm just wondering if your gonna try to have THIS thread shut down if you don't like what I tell you."OFF WITH THE HEADS,OFF WITH THE HEADS!"

I live right by a horse ranch and the way I see it,the horses look as if that they got themselves a very boring and dull life.Only to get visits from they're owners maybe once a week, sometimes once a month, just standing around in the cold just doing nothing then just 'standing there'and eating grass. The ranchers have no control over they're animals,YEAH RIGHT!

But politicians have more control over it's people more and more and everyday BUSH proves that point, considering that he stole the elections, went over to every country that he doesn't like more or less likely, declares war with them, takes everything away from this country that HE sees fit for himself,he works against all our allies, making sure that they become our enimies, got us involves in a two front war that doesn't seem to end or us winning anytime soon(with the little bit of solders that we have to protect this country, getting slautered left and right over there),the administration seems to be only interested in making peace with countries that don't follow ANYTHING with The Geneva Convention(other than Great Britain and that's still in question, whether the Bush Administration want to make peace with them or not)and the list can go only on and on and all you do(and your COP family)is just stand there, smile and nod, because all it means to you guys,is a paycheck and more BOOSTS up RANK! What are you gonna say to whoever is left in this country and the ramaining allies when the western hemisphere becomes the biggest GRAVEYARD of all history, that you where just following ORDERS? The Nazi's used that excuse too,but it didn't work! They either died in Nuremberg or fled to this country to run the United States into the ground through bogus politics! And the "Lonely Star" gives it's standing ovation over it all! What do you CARE what I think about TEXAS???!!!

No Pidaua,I don't think your curious,I think your just looking for an arguement with me and you've finally found one!

As in Pink Floyd Juniperb,a rock band with an record that was #1 and stayed in The Billboard Album Charts for 14 years and Three months, can't be all that bad!

Hahaha, Bush stole the election How many times did the ballots have to be counted to satisfy the democrats? Answer, until Gore finally won one of the recounts or hell froze over. Mind you, all those disputed precincts were democrat precincts. All those recounts were supervised by democrat election supervisors and Gore still lost every single recount. In spite of massive democrat voter fraud, in spite of chads lying all over the floors, chads that fell out, haha or were later punched out by democrat poll workers, ballots in democrat attorney's pockets, boxes of ballots in the trunk of democrat re-counters in violation of the election laws and still, Gore lost every recount. Face it ozone, after going to all that trouble to fix the election in Florida, Gore still came up short, even when Gore's people cheated, Gore still came up a loser. You've got to face the fact ozone, Gore isn't smart enough to be President.

I do have to give the left their due though. They sure know how to hate and spew out the hate speech.

Your needle is stuck ozone. You need to kick it into the next groove. I wonder what the democrats will blame the Presidential election loss of 2004 on? Care to give me a preview ozone? "Bush stole Florida"------------ again! Well, it is easy to remember, isn't it?

*almost chokes on his coffie and spits it back out into the sink*

My needle wouldn't be so stuck if it wasn't being pushed back by so many right hands,JW!

Of course, you of all people would know who will win the next election, considering the fact that Florida and little brother Jeb will always be there to fix the elections, but I know it won't be through good politics! How can you even say that,if the democratic poll workers were pushing those holes in the ballets and the attorney are filled with rigged ballots or not,ONLY FOR GORE TO LOSE,wHY? Your right JW,we bleeding hearts love to spew out hate speaches, only because we never perfected the art of BLAMING the left for everything AND THEN make up all BIG BIG bedtime stories to tell, because everybody knows that Republicans have a gift in making up TALL TAILS and then drag it on with years of court sessions, courtesy of the tax payers, just to BLAME that on the democrats as well! "IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT THAT WE DID THIS,WHAAAA!" So,what ever happened to the Devil's avocate Ken Star, how's he been?

Hey, you're right ozone. How did you know that all us right wingers along with all the corporate CEO's sit around discussing how to keep you down? Got our feet on your neck holding you down don't you know. Not to mention your name along with all the other leftists are in all the corporate computers so there's no jobs there----except for us right handed persons. You do believe that don't you? Got our secret handshakes and passwords too.

Actually ozone, Jeb Bush isn't so little. Yeah, Jeb managed to get his people inside the democrat precincts to screw up all the recounts and make sure they came out right for W.

The point I was making is that Gore, with all the cheating his people did still lost. Takes a lot of incompetence to pull that off As for those ballots being punched, Bush ballots in the Gore stacks for the machine recounts, people walking around with ballots in their pockets etc. They got caught ozone. It was in all the better papers but probably not on the Bush hating websites you frequent.

Have to disagree with you ozone. Leftists have perfected the art of blame. Too bad it's always America they blame first, last and always. Wouldn't it just be a perfect world if there was no America? Workers of the world unite and throw off the yokes of your oppressors. Sound familiar ozone?

Ken and I don't talk much anymore ozone. He had to get back to making money so he's out of politics for a while---at least until Hillary decides to make a run at the Presidency. I think he still has a grand jury subpoena or two in his back pocket for Hillary. Obstruction of Justice, perjury, impersonating a Senator. By the way ozone Ken's pretty particular about his name, spells Star with 2 r's as in Starr. Probably a Virgo.

Guess Starr won't be convicting Bill Clinton of anything now. All Clinton's supporting cast committed suicide or got amnesia---but mostly suicide. Shocking what a suicide committing bunch those Clintonites are. Shocking too that so many of Clinton's staff have such poor memories--at least when they were testifying before the various Congressional Committees investigating Administration corruption. After all the I don't remember answers they gave, a lot of us out here wonder how they managed to get up, get dressed, remember to eat breakfast and get to work. Hell we wonder how they managed to remember where they worked.

Uh......not to beat a dead horse, but you two brought it all up.....

yes Gore won the vote.....

and shall we talk about the voter lists "doctored" by Kathleen Harris? The ones that excluded thousands of eligible voters and was found to be 85% inaccurate?
Hmmmmmm.. kinda funny Harris is now a Congresswoman now too.

For all Bush touts democracy, he is certainly happy to dispense of it as it fits his needs...according to the Constitution (remember that? Freedoms? Bill of Rights?) if ever the election is in doubt, its is the decision of CONGRESS that decides..not the Supreme Court.

Hmmm.

Currently, Bush is telling Taiwan to back down from taking a VOTE about declaring independence. Neat. I guess democracy is only important if your country sits above crude oils reserves. Or if the country you are trying to declare independence from isnt a major ally and a huge new market to sell to. Very curious.
