The only thing I can think is that the USA is trying to get to absolute rock bottom in order to learn and become awesome. I can't imagine what changes he will make in the next four years.Dean. IP: Logged |

Well, if we're going to hell, at least we are going with lower taxes, and hopefully no mandatory government health care, at least for a while longer. Hillary will take care of those things in '08.

I'm worried as well...have strange feeling that Iran will be next...don't say that Kerry would be any better, but at least I wouldn't need to turn tv off everytime when Bush has one of his "passionate and deep" speeches...whats even worse is that the world enviroment means absolutely nothing to him! Yes.. it's the last stands of old growth forest, the streams and rivers, and our air that I am mourning for right now. This administration does not see the living earth as anything but a commodity to plunder. IP: Logged |

If the environment really mattered that much (and it certainly does), the public, the people, you and I together, could save it in the twinkling of an eye. We have the power to determine it ... the Constitution gives us that power ... Bush is one man, the President. It is easy to point the finger, and it makes us feel better, but who is really to blame? We are.Can Bush make it easier for big business to have it's way? Yes. But we buy and use the products that big business produces, we work in the factories that produce them, we work for the lawyers who defend them ... we support them in every way. They make our lives easy, convenient, practical. We are not really willing to give these things up. And we elect the officials who represent us. I have very little faith in many of the really large elections, but on the local level there is still hope. And there are good people being elected, people with the best of intentions, people who want to know the truth and have justice served just as you and I. But their voice, our voice, is constantly silenced ... and we allow it to be that way. That's my take on it. We choose. IP: Logged |

Dear enLik, quote:

Its typical of water sign people. These people are full of emotions. Did Nostradamus say the antichirst would come from a land surrounded by three waters? Is it, America?

I agree with you Ra, that it's mainly up to us- public. I'm not blaming only the President for all this mess. It's obvious that the dirt is more "camouflaged". It's rather the people "around", involved and their "great" business connections... Also, it's not only in America, but China can't be very proud of their goverment either[heavily polluting everything], the same for many European states...I come from one of them... I think, we would find in almost every country around the globe some flaw... I'd be so happy, if we all finally woke up and realise that this precious place, our beautifull Mother Earth is as alive as we are and needs more care from all of us. Otherwise, our children will have only dreams left what was it like to go to a real forest or swim in the sea with Dolphins... I come from family who always lived and still does live in [as much as possible] harmony with the Nature. My boyfriend and I are trying our best as well. Recycling and Organic is for us as something utterly normal. I'm not trying to force anyone to do the same. I only say to my friends that this beauty won't be here forever unless we take care of it. PS: But one thing any President can do; try to choose the "right" people with the "right intentions" to work with him[those usually make lot of important decision]. Unfortunately, money still rule the World...IP: Logged |

Hello IamThat, To be honest, I don't know. I've read couple of his books of prophecies and Sibyl of Saba too. Most of my friends don't believe to those things and say it's a load of nonsense, but I always say to them what if it is true[at least a little bit]. I think, that we can influence all prophecies in to a certain extend[20%]. Who was, is or will be the AntiChrist, I have no idea and frankly, I don't really search for the answer. If you look around, quite a few of them are already happily"running" around, so maybe Bush belongs to them too ...[Isn't Magidivision in their Club as well...] What do you think IamThat about the prophecies? PS:You, 26taurus and Sesame make me trully laugh with your cheeky and funny messages! I love people who like humour, that's the best "spices" of life! IP: Logged |

Did anyone notice how "red" the USA was?Where did all these republican states come from? Something's fishy about his re-election. There were far too many people wanting to get rid of Bush. IP: Logged |

At the end of the day, the loudest people don't count. The AMOUNT of people counts. I heard that there were loud debates between people that didn't even vote, so this reenforces my statement. It wouldn't surprise me if fishy things went on, but how would we know? There are infinite conspiracy theories.Dean. IP: Logged |

Dear enlik, I have read Nostradamus's works. Its always good to pay attention to prophet of God. If the prophecy does not get fulfilled, we must be glad. Thats actually a victory of sorts. I believe the universe changes every second. It is not preordained. I love everyone at Lindaland, everyone has something to say. I am glad you noticed my no-pun attitude. I do read every post in the Universal codes forum. I believe every voice is voice of God. Be it Hitler like person or Mother Teresa. How can I be indifferent towards that voice? Its upto us based on our own receptivity to purge some and keep that which is good within our heart. Thats how we grow.

Dear enlik, I also noticed in the trip to Sth France, in a restaurant, they didn't let me take as much napkins as I wanted but only one. I was shocked, in America I could take 10 napkins and no one bothers. I was wondering is it because it costs money or is it because it takes one tree to make that one paper. What ever it is, what you mentioned about "Recycle and organic" made me say that.

I am perceiving that with this win, Europe and America are becoming more distant. Already, American currency is weaking against Euro. If UK joins EU, thats the final nail in coffin. EU slapped Microsoft with millions dollar fine. More is on way I believe. IP: Logged |

Motherkonfessor Bush received 51% of the popular vote. Apparantly, to some people, the opinions of the other 49% of voters don't matter and are to be looked down upon at every opportunity. ------------------ "You must be the change you wish to see in the world." - Ghandi IP: Logged |

I wouldn't trust any election that comes up in the next few years - there's too much opportunity for vote rigging with these electronic voting machines. The guy who runs Diebold, said in August 2003 that he was "committed to helping Ohio deliver its electoral votes to the president next year."(source: http://www.commondreams.org/headlines03/0828-08.htm) And as recently as a couple of weeks ago, hackers got into the system that counts votes. See http://www.blackboxvoting.org for more information. Also, taking a look around on the Internet one can find thousands and thousands of stories of people having problems voting. Personally, I think this election was fixed in a lot of ways. And no, I'm not some kind of left-wing conspiracy nutter. Honest :-) IP: Logged |

Hello I Am That,I enjoy your posts so much, and you are indeed quite right about the falling dollar and the rising Euro. However, I want you to know that the United kingdom has been in the EU for many years and that Euro money is legal tender there already. If other countries dump the dollar as it falls in favour of the Euro, the dollar will indeed be in very big trouble and America back in the depression. Lets all pray things get better. Sometimes the best lessons and the toughest are learned when we don't listen to our hearts. I too wish it was not so. Gia IP: Logged |
