So when someone is not being straight up with you...ask them to clarify..and if they will not...or act holier than thou or know it all..tell them to go take a flying f-ck or stop teasing or whatever. Often folks act that way to protect their deeper sensitive sides or to test the waters so to speak...but it is often confusing to us and does them no good either. So the self protectiveness becomes an impedance to true communication of ideas and exchange of concepts. Game playing and baiting I do not enjoy. Now sometimes I can be cryptic... but for good reasons...but being mysterious just to be mysterious and taunt or tease is just plain rude.
Wit and humor can be also seen as a sadistic power play or arrogance. Even when that was not the intent of the speaker. At least not conciously.
We all must watch how we say things but without walking on eggshells....but it is not always an easy task for sure.
Ok..I am rambling...have had a very busy morning here. I counsel folks not from LL. and it can be quite time consuming and emotionally wracking. I get a litle scatterbrained afterwards at times.
So please forgive my ramblings.
