Cancerrg, I think it would be a good idea if you could give me some information on the riots. I believe that a party's philosophy and actions can change...only if revenge doesn't rear it's ugly head again.lol...libra and gem? Nope I'm the other one that you didn't mention. Though I do have a gemini asc. Im not sure how you look. I cant find the photoshop. Being a Cancer...hmm still cant imagine. No I'm really too chicken to post a pic on the net. Never done it, but who knows maybe one day i'll so "unpredictably" (as Aquarians are supposed to be) post one. IP: Logged |

ah, i'll try . you might have to wait a bit but i'll do it for sure . just be here . and i think a party's philosphy and actions can change only when those who oppose them are able to puncture their wrong logics and at the same time , create a preventive system . i dont think , you can eliminate revenge bcos its a human emotion . but you can create systems where unnecessary revenges with ulterior motives are not taken . thats the only way to prevent politicisation of trivial issues . oops ! wrong guess ! you know what , you are the only second aqua woman that i know , first one being my three year old niece .though i have a few aqua male friends . infact, my basic circle of friends consists of water and air people only , if i count the male friends ( ok, i might include cancerand pisces women too ) tell me something about aqua woman , how much are they same to their male counterparts . ok, what do you think is the best thing about them and whats the worst ? and whats the best and worst about cancers ? check out this link: ! http://groups.msn.com/LindalandPhotoShop/homepage

Cancerrg, you are Cute!...especially the one where you've got glasses on. Have a sore jaw or in shock in that last pic though That's true...both sides just have to work a compromise and get out of their wrong logic...somehow. A preventative system...hmmm...that's got me thinking. What's preventing problems there right now? Hehe I bet you would have picked Aquarius last of all signs. Aqua women...not good at describing signs, but I think we're infamous for our independence, mind, and detachment. How are we different from the Aqua male species though?...not sure, we're just their female counterpart Best and worst about Aquas depends...rebellion and and our cool demeanor for instance can be a bad and good thing. Cancers...one of my best friends is a Cancer (I have maybe 5 best friends) and I had one good guy friend who was Cancer when I was studying for my BSc. They're very thoughtful, caring, hardworking and very funny in my opinion!! The con..moodiness
What do you think of Aqua's...what's best and worst about us? IP: Logged |

ok, i am taking your compliments very very seriously ! i dont think , aquas compliment you very easily . i feel lucky! as for the preventive system , i think every society creates a preventive system of its own . let me tell you what i think hpow a society works , in every society there are some fifty percent of the people with peaceful leanings , some forty percent with a basic peceful leaning but with abit of misguided opportunistic attitude and the last ten percent are the trouble makers . these forty percents are the most crucial bcos they act as the swing votes .and they are the people for whom system should be geared up to prevent them to swing on the right side . thats where the consitution , commitment and the general feelings of the people matter . now , what exactly happened in gujrat . these forty perents were given incentives in the form of state protection and again the rioters were more inclined to harm economically . shops were systemitically looted before being burnt or whatever . the loots were a big incentive for the middle classes with high aspirations . so my point was , contain , in any which way, these forty percents . bocs you can't really do anything about the last ten percents bocs they represent the wrongs in us which is very very human and thus can't really be eliminated . coming back to your question , whats preventing these problems , right now . and your answer lies in one of your statements in an earlier post - haven't hindus and muslims lived togetther for thousands of years now! i hope , i have been able to clearly put my point . i am not very good with words . what do i think about aquas , i like them forn their questioning ability .they have been very helpful at times . i dont have an instant connection kind of thing with aquas , as say , i have with libras and scorps . but with them it has always been a grdual pace . what i dont like about them , i would say , below the belt comments and may be their empahsis on too much practicality . infact, one of my worst experiences of life has been with aquas , in my exp. a person's social status is very important to them . inafct , they ignoreed me when i was at my lowest. though they were different people , not among my current batch of aqua friends .
and cancers are lazy people . i am one of them IP: Logged |

That's true Aquas don't compliment too easily...but you are handsome.Yeah I agree you can't do anything about the 10% of the population that is corrupt, and that the 40% swing votes are more likely the determining factor. You are fine with your words, and made your point clear. I guess Aquas can throw "below the belt" comments but I think most of the time we don't realize how bad they are to other people. Aquas are practical? Hehe...I wish. Aquas actually care about their image and how they are treated just like anyone else. Maybe our detachment, and objectivity fool people into thinking we are any different? That's too bad those Aquas in your life ignored when you were at your lowest. I think Cancers believe they are more lazy than they really are...well the Cancers I know. Were you born in Delhi?...how is life there and have you been to any other parts of India or any other countries before? IP: Logged |

nope , i wasn't born in delhi . so , i am not a 'pakka delhiwala ' life in delhi is pretty cool , its fast turning to be a true metropolitian city with people from all over india choosing it as their final destination . be it boisterous punjabis or the ultra modernist north easterns or the silent southerners . its the ultimate amalgation pot . i love it . besides , its a beautiful city with scorching heat in summers .( it touches 48 degrees at times) it can be a fav. for people who want spicy foods be it veg or non veg . street food in delhi is a real big thing . and delhities are very fond of eating out . every step here has a historical value and beauty bcos girls in delhi are really really beautiful .you got to see to believe it . may be bcos punjabis are normally considerd to be one of the most beautiful people in india and delhi is heavily populated by them. do u know what, i have a habit of seeing even when i am on bike , so there have been times ,when i have escaped accidents by nano seconds . but can't really do anything about it . delhi girls are goddesses!!! though i have never been on a vacation , but i have been to a few places in north india for a day or two . i dont think , i have enough money or time to go for big vacations ,soon . so i am plaaning all these when i am fifity and have lot of money . i have plans to leave everything once when i am fifty , so i am waiting to turn fifty till then i am working to make my own business , a big one at that . tell you a secret , i am going to beat gates ! how about you ? howz life there ? how is the education system there . you mentioned , you did b.sc.
yeah, "vidambna " in hindi means confusion.

Where were you born then, if you're not pakaa delhiwalla? You know it's soo funny how each regional group of people are characterized...I havent even lived in punjab but yeah that's how we are...boisterous. Could be my father though. I'm a mix of that and more calm and stubborn like my Kashmiri mother. Not sure if that's how Kashmiris are characterized as though...should ask SGA what she thinks. That's kewl there is such a mix in Dehli. Dehli gets as hot as Karachi Im sure. As high as 48 C and I bet there are lots of people without air conditioners in India either. I love spicy food. Are you vegetarian? Only one of my hindu friends is vegetarian. And the rest...well most of them don't eat beef. What's your favourite dish? Haha punjabis are considered the most beautiful in India...I'd watch what you say...the Urdu speaking girls I know wouldn't like that Seriously I love how diverse India's people are. Be careful on that bike of yours...maybe you should walk while you go through the city. What parts of north India have you visited? I dont know why but we dont vacation either. Last time I did was when I was 5 . I know what you mean...after Ive saved all my pennies which will probably be around the time Im 50 I will travel the world...that's my goal. Where's the first place you'd visit? And what kind of top secret business are you working on...Are you by any chance good with computers?I wouldn't be surprised if a number of gates prodigies come out of India soon. Life here...just take it day by day. It's always busy though because I have a fairly big family...and Im the oldest of 6 kids. Had some relatives come over. My cousin's wife and their baby just came back from Lahore. Such a cutie the 1 year old is...she's an Aquarian pakka Kashmiri. The education system here is pretty good...the post secondary that is. But everything costs money. If it didnt' Id be living in a University still. A lot of international students come to go to school here. How's the education system there? I was going to ask about vidambna...thanks for clearing up that confusion for me though! IP: Logged |

oh , i was born in a small place called samastipur in one of the most criminalised state in india , so i have seen crime , casteism and the threat of it from very close quarters , may be thats the rerson , i feel so repulsed by it now . though by nature i am a short tempered person.i am not sure if kashmiris are the calm one , may be stubborn . ( just for record, no political thoughts on my side ) no , i am not vegetarian but we dont cook meat in our kitchen though . my mom is a vegetarian . i dont eat beef, not even planning to . nothing to do with religion , its just that i have never felt doing so . i dont even eat pork , though north eastern restro have a large menu. my fav. dish: rice with fish curry.
quote: I'd watch what you say...the Urdu speaking girls I know wouldn't like that
WHY? so you speak urdu . its indeed one of the most beautiful language but its dying here just as sanskrit.oh, i hvae been to jammu as there is a well known hindu temple near by called " vaishno devi" . i have been to allahabad and varanasi . both of them hindu religious sites but i went there for my army interviews. ok, we will go togetther . when are you turning fifty ? the places that i want to go first , jerusalem, istanbul , kabbah and himalyas . i also want tyo see some parts of russsia . nononon..... , i just know the basic of comps. but being a cancerian , i think i have a good business intution .
and i am the youngest among the six .hahaha.. i think the edu system is pretty good and the higher studies uptill now was pretty cheap . you know the renowned IIM and IIT cost peanuts to the students . but its all getting costlier day by day . ok, and am putting the same questions to you now IP: Logged |

Ahh...for how many years did you live in Samastipur? And how come its characterized by so much crime...is it because of the different classes or castes? Oh we are pretty similar in that case then...Im more short tempered than I would like to be. Is it in the genes? Im not sure if calm is the right word to describe Kashmiris. My mother gives off that appearance though. How would you characterize Punjabis then? No worries I wasnt going to ask you anything about Kashmir and politics. Im not a big fan of eating beef and I could do without. Love seafood though. I don't eat pork either...for obvious reasons. Does your mom still cook for you Mine does Oh I only said that comment about urdu speaking girls as a joke. Hehe, I agree with you though Punjabs are good looking Umm I dont speak Urdu well either. If thats so, that Urdu's dying, I will have to learn it well, as with Punjabi and pass it on to my kids. What army did you try to join, or have you ever been part of an army? It's a deal. In 23 years we'll take a trip around this globe, and hopefully by that time it'll still be in a half decent condition. How long till you turn 50? So much of Asia I want to visit, including the places you want to go. Start saving your pennies then. Do Cancers in general have good business intuition? And what's this top secret business...do I at least get a clue? Im thinking about starting my own after I get used to teaching for a few years. Wow how weird is it that you're the youngest and Im the oldest of six. Very weird. How is it being the youngest of six? Are you spoiled or did your older siblings try to tell you what to do? Education is getting more and more costly. And Im not sure how important it is to go to university anymore. You can be successful without a uni degree. How much is education at IIM and IIT? Our education isn't as expensive as the states I dont think. But still it gets pricey especially if you live at school. Tuition is over $5000+ a year, I think. But then there's the cost of books, and living...student living. IP: Logged |

initial ten years , then went over to a borading school . crime is always related to politics in some other way . take my words for it ( dont laugh, i know they ain't worth much today )and when you talk of politics , there is bound to be different groups whether they are named as white/blacks or hindu/muslim or rich or poor . Is it in the genes? : i believe so , punjabi's are known for it ,hahahahahah....
punjabi are flambouyant ,showy (they are even known to be shallow . but gutsy ,they never shy from taking risks thats why you will see alot of even uneducated punjabis to be big business men. ok, even if you had asked about my political thoughts , i wouldn't have lied .i dont lie to people that i like . yeah, my mom still cooks for me , though i myself know everything to cook . i can even bake good cakes .
i am also planning to learn punjabi and urdu . lets see, when i find the time . oh, my own country's army . why would i want to join someother . when you turn 50, i'll be 48 . but theek hai, we'll go together . no, i am not saving , i am just planning to make so much money by that time . and yeah, cancers are known for their business intution . ah, there isn't anything top secret about my business plans . i'll try getting into something that i understand , i dont really understand the tech business .but then i also believe the basics of business are always the same wahtever the product . what subjects are you teaching ?
quote: Wow how weird is it that you're the youngest and Im the oldest of six. Very weird. How is it being the youngest of six? Are you spoiled or did your older siblings try to tell you what to do?
BUT i find this combination of friends to be weirdly interesting . one who has all the siblings above him and one who has everyone below her. i dont think, i was spoiled . never actually . being a typical cancerian , i am a complete home body and i believe in taking family responsbilities . i am not very close to my dad or brothers but i am very very close to my sisters ,even more than my mom . and i have always been very independent , infact i guide them.hahahahahaha....... i would disagree with your unv. theory though . i think it is important , may be not for the studies part but thats the time when are on our own , thats the time when you get to learn about the outside world and finally studies are never bad.
though , i am not very sure about the actual fee charges but they less than 200 dollars ,i believe ( i'll check though) i 'll give you a complete , once i am free . i am prety busy these days . i'll give you the gujrat events summary too . but you need to wait . so imagine , world class studies for a fraction of what the world pays . education here is still cheaper compared to your side of the world .

Why'd you go to a boarding school??? I can see how crime is most often related to politics....when you look at the bigger picture. Well I noticed that with Punjabis here...they work hard and party hard. But they're also very much involved in politics and the military. I can cook too...but for some reason food tastes better to me when it's cooked by somebody else. Plus my mother loves to cook, so I dont have to bother. What kind of cakes can you bake? What language are you most fluent in? Hehe, I guess there's no point in saving pennies if you're going make alot. Ive noticed that about Cancers. They probably have good business intuition because they're very concerned about their security. So it becomes a sixth sense. Have you figured out what business idea interests you? When I start making more money Im going to use alot of that money for travelling...and if that means I have to live in a tiny (but of course cozy) house that's what I'll do. I dont see the point of living in a huge house and paying all those stupid bills for it...esp if most of the rooms are vacant. I'm qualified to teach math and science, but I've been teaching grade 9, 10 academic, and applied science, and grade 11 chemistry. I wish I was last born, instead of first born. There is a vast difference between the way I was raised and my baby brother was raised. He is spoiled!! But I think I can be in a way too. I think it has more to do with personality. How many brothers and sisters do you have, and what do you mean you guide them? Oh I agree university is good for learning about the world outside your own bubble. That's what I found it was most useful for, and then after that came the studies. Damn if that's the correct price, I should have went their for school. Problem is this country has a hard time converting foreign degrees into jobs here. IP: Logged |

i went to the boarding school bcos the place i was born in didn't have good schools . the first school that i attended was the village kind where you sit on the floor , then after a missionary school . from there on , i went to this anglo indian society school .ohyeah , punjabis and military are synonomus . in punjab, there are villages where every house has a man in army , thats a tradition for them.
quote: I can cook too...but for some reason food tastes better to me when it's cooked by somebody else. Plus my mother loves to cook, so I dont have to bother.
Oh thats smart! whats your mother's sign ? what about your father ? i bake the normal ones . ok, have ever heard of baking a cke in pressure cooker ? we do it . thats called " jugaad " in india , that means you just have to find a way out . i'll give another example , here we will give a miss call rather than calling . miss call automatiacally means we are at the predesstined position (whatever has been decided earlier ) in the process , saving our talktime and money. you go to villages and you will see people using an umbrella rather than an antenna to catch channel signals . and it all works ! i am not fluent in any of the languages , i dont speak very good hindi ,english or punjabi . but i am planning to learn spoken punjabi ,chaste hindi, urdu and tamil( mainly bcos they make a lot of good movies in tamil and malayalam . quote:
Ive noticed that about Cancers. They probably have good business intuition because they're very concerned about their security. So it becomes a sixth sense
EXACTLY ! thats the idea . cancers always live in future in this sense . business ideas : yeah, i have a few . infact i was going to start my business this year only but something happened so i'll have work again and replan. quote: and if that means I have to live in a tiny (but of course cozy) house that's what I'll do. I dont see the point of living in a huge house and paying all those stupid bills for it...esp if most of the rooms are vacant.
absolutely ! i too dont see the point. but you are an antithesis of all the aquas that i know . they all believe in spendthriftness or atleast they show that they are ! you know what , i always hated chemistry . never actually could learn it . i never got intr\eresting teachers for it especially in the initial yrs. and i was always good in maths . so so in physics a but good in bio .
oh, i have three elder sisters . first two are cancers , last one a cap . they are more of friends to me . then i have two bros first one a cusp of libra and virgo and second one a perfect libra. even my dad is a libran . not very sure of my mom but she is most probably a virgo. guide them means i guide them . quote: Damn if that's the correct price, I should have went their for school. Problem is this country has a hard time converting foreign degrees into jobs here.
and thats the going rate for IITs and IIMs . i wasn't talking of the unv. education . half of the silicon valley is filled with them ( IQHUNK being one of them , though he returned to achieve his spiritual goals ) infact, the man who created hotmail was in the group of schools where my elder bro was . as far as converting foreign degrees to jobs is concerned , i dont have musch about the situation but most of the indians move on to greener pastuers with these degrees only so how does it work ?

Cancerrg...what's the RG stand for? Your initials? That massage actually killed my muscles...not at all relaxing...it feels like I just worked out! Oh my, you know what I just realized? My best friend I went to get the massage with is born on the same day as Bush, and Im born on the same day as Cheney! Spooky. Dalai Lama's also born on the 6th too! When's your bday, and what's your asc?Thats an interesting mix of schools youve gone through. I went through the public school system here. They were ok. I think the reason why punjabis are often in the military is because they come from an area...north of main india, east of persia, west of china and south of russia...where they are frequently getting into battles with foreign invaders? My mother is a Taurus, and yes we butt heads. And my father is a Sagittarius. Huh...you can BAKE a cake in a pressure cooker??? Hmmm Ive got to try that one out....more detail on how you do that please. So jugaad is innovation. I dont think Im fluent in any language either, including English although that's all I can speak, lol. So many languages to learn...which one's are you going to start with first? Best of luck with your business plans..hope things work out the second time around! What kind of house do you plan on living in? I didnt enjoy chemistry in high school either...we didnt even have a text book for senior chemistry! Physics I liked better. I did better in chem, physics, math than in biology, yet that's what I did my degree in. Thats perfect, three boys and three girls...and Im surprised how many cancers you have in your family. I can see why you get along with your sisters best. Well I have three september babies in my family...one sister born sept 3, and my two brothers born on the virgo-libra cusp, sept 21, and 23. We're all either 3's or 5 birthday numbers. Still that's good for any post-secondary/high school eduation. Yeah I know half the silicon valley is filled with them...including one of my uncles. Ive seen some of Iqhunk's posts and he seems like he's already reached many spiritual goals. Do you know him personally? Well most people I know who've come here, and when I mean here, I mean Canada, find it extremely difficult to get a job in what they've gone to school for. And I mean doctors, and lawyers, and even post graduates. IP: Logged |

yeah, that rg stands for my intials . my b'day is on 29th , actually 30th according to western astro bcos i was born after midnight . infact thats the same case with cancer lady that i have been talking of in different threads . hers is 9/10 confusion. and i do know quite a few people who share my b'day . my own bro in law ( cap's husband ) does . then a cousin's husband and friends bro too . and i know a lot of cancers . once i was sharing a flat with my seven boarding school friends ,out of which, five were cancers except a gem and a libra
quote: I think the reason why punjabis are often in the military is because they come from an area...north of main india, east of persia, west of china and south of russia...where they are frequently getting into battles with foreign invaders?
Oh yeah, that could be a reason , i never thought it that way . will sure try to find out more .
quote: My mother is a Taurus, and yes we butt heads. And my father is a Sagittarius
hahaha...... when do u do so ? how is the taurean /sag relation ? i have seen both to be very attracted to the other . oh, for the cake part , you will have to come here . you got to see it to believe it.
i think , i'll first start with punjabi. What kind of house do you plan on living in? ::: hmmmm ..... , it will depend on the situation . i am very comfortable in a small house too mainly bcos , i am not a very showy kind of guy . but if i have money , i might have a big one with big gardens ( i am fond of gardening ) it wont have many rooms but it should be such that it is completly private . no one can see me even if i am in my garden , privacy is very important. ahhh... i think i have been a good student but yeah marks wise , not very good bcos i am basically a lazy perosn . i can't study for very long at a strecth . one mistake that i thnk i made was , not going according to my gut feeling but rather going according to worldly expectations . for example, i wanted to study psychology in graduation but someone said it was tough (that was also the time when i was going through my worst phases , financially and mental strength wise , so i simply backed out rather than finding a way out .) i dont regret it much though bcos it was a life lesson . now i do what i feel like rather than going to other's expectations.
what about your other two siblings? no no , i dont know iq personally but just met here only . we dont even interact much. he is a cancer ,again. but yeah, i like him and way he shares things . ok, what was that pyschic comment? good to hear complments from aqua . i feel elated ! and holidays , we have a lot of them . bocs we have so many religions . even in hinduism , we have so many religious events that we have to have holidays . but here , holidays depend on area . like you wont have a " baishaki"( punjabi new year ) holiday in places below delhi. but its all festival time in upper north. so it depends.

Hey, so that means we share the same day of birth. I was born on the 30th at noon according to Central time in North America. What's your rising? Hmm, I think I would just stick with the day you were born where your birth place is. But, really, you can do whatever you want. You could make yourself another sign entirely if you want That's what a lot of Pakis do. My father is a Pisces born in late 40s, but he's really born a Sag born a few years earlier. And my mother doesnt really know her real birthdate either...May 1st because that's what they put on her birth certificate. I think she really was...she's is 100% mooooooo-ve over, bull! Among my relatives, I dont know too many bdays, but I do know one of my cousins and my aunt, his mother are both cancers. I lived with my aunt for one summer when I was young, and she's one of the sweetest aunts. And my cousin is the most hardworking out of his siblings...he's definitely into pleasing his family more than others. I can imagine it being easier to get along with people born under the same sign....but all those cancers under one roof...How was that? Bet it was a very cozy flat! Taurus and Sag relation...it's funny! Yes, there's an attraction. Their ways of thinking are pretty different too, but they come around to similar ends. Is it a typical cake you are talking about, just with a different way of baking, or is the cake a complete Indian innovation as well? Ok I hope your cakes are worth $1800. Hmm the kind of house I plan to live in? Prefer not to live in a highly populated area, but...I need people and life around, so I have to find a happy medium. The house itself, not sure, guess when I see it I'll know. Has to be warm and inviting...I do have Jupiter in the 4th house. You're fond of gardening? Not too many guys are. I'd definitely have a nice garden, and grow my own fruits and veges. Used to grow strawberrries and raspberries, to name a few when I was young. Oh I need complete privacy too...that's why sometimes I think about living on a farm...so that I have all that land to myself without the neighbours eyeing me. Studying is not for procrastinators, unless it's a subject you absolutely love. I know that was my mistake too...going after my parent's dreams actually. What was going on during this turbulent time while you backed down from taking psych? It's never too late to go back on track, unless you've changed your mind. Right now Im teaching, and enjoying the impact Im having on students, but I want to try other things as well. My other two siblings are a Scorpio and Gemini. I don't know I just thought Cancers in general are pretty psychic and intuitive. Isnt that mostly true...you guys work by intuition. No prob for the compliment by the way. Lucky you guys have so many holidays...we only get holidays on Christian, or Canadian holidays. Sometimes it can be a hassle to get a day off for religious reasons. How is the punjabi new year celebrated there? What what's your favourite holiday, and why? Sorry the Easter weekend started Friday and we had to go back to work on Tuesday. It was a very very busy week, hence the late reply. IP: Logged |

actually , this festival comes at the time when argiculture wise , anew year is being started. crops have just been harvested . its also , a way of worshiping fire , we hindus ,believe air ,fire ,water and soil are the creators of everytrhing in this world , thats the reason we creamate . and sikhism having its origin in hinduism ,celebrates it that way too . in essence , the philosphy is , something created out something has gone back to it . my fav. holiday, i like deepawali . infact, i like festivals bcos i think they rejuvenate you . ( they are actually meant for it ) but at times i dont take part in it fully . for that i need my close friends .ok ok ok but i wont be aplogizing for the late reply i actually went to rajasthan , yesterday. very near to pak border.
