Pidaua, it did help me to understand where you are coming from when you told me about living in a military community. Hopefully, what I just stated about where I live helps others here to know where I am coming from.

It also helped me greatly to understand where salome was coming from when she posted that article on Eugenics. It helped me to understand that she was not just misunderstanding my comments on Barbara Bush and lacking in a sense of humor or judging me but it touched on something that is very important to her values and principals that she, rightfully, finds apalling.

Thank you for your kind words, salome. I think you are a cool lady too.

Pidaua you are right about generalizing. Many people move to small towns by choice and didn't grow up there and commute to their jobs in the city. Also there are many who like yourself do a lot of traveling with their jobs. Those people would be the exception to what I said as they do encounter more diverse groups of people and places. My sister travels a lot with her job too.

I like small towns. The township that I live in has a population of around 160,000 and it is growing fast. Two years ago they cut the woods down next door to my neighborhood and built another strip mall and there are new subdivisions going up all over the place. I miss all the trees we had when we moved here long ago.

Well, the Sun does account for a lot, doesn't it? I'll give you that.

Elementally, I do have more Fire and Air than either of you. You have the most Earth. Pid has the most water, and the most balanced chart elementally.

Now where's that beer? What do you drink by the way? My guess is that when it comes to beer you're probably pretty straight forward, choosing a good old American beer like Coors Light or Budweiser.

Thanks! I haven't had this kind before.

(The astrology thing takes into account the houses, but I do agree that your fire would be more apparent than mine.)

Hi Mirandee,
<<Hard to do isn't it, IQ? Only a saint would be able to respond to name calling and character assassination in a civil way. We can sometimes do that in better moments but the normal human emotional reaction to a personal attack is to become defensive. >>

Extremely hard to do. It is all the more difficult for me because in my path I am not even supposed to mentally cuss at someone no matter how rudely they behave. I have noticed in retrospect that every rudely judgemental word I used verbally or in writing came back in a worse way.

I feel it is better to be very rude once and get the rude person off my back than constantly control the self in dealing with other folk's anger. Ultimately, anger testifies to ignorance.

to your post.

Isn't it sweet? Pretty soon ole' Jwhop will be calling AG "junior" with an affectionate tone in his voice and a fatherly gleam in his eye. AG will sit respectfully at Jwhop's feet, perhaps in front of a roaring fire, and listen respectfully to stories of the good old days when we fought off the Dreaded Commies and King Ron ruled the land.

Ahhhh peace

"Pid has the most water"

AG, do you mean out of the both of you?

My breakdown:

Fire: 3 (Sun Sag / Moon Aries / Venus Sag)

Water: 3 (Jupiter Scorp / Neptune Scorp / Mars Pisces)

Air: 1 (Uranus in Libra)

Earth: 3 (Mercury Cappy / Pluto Virgo / Saturn Taurus) and if you count the Ascendant - Virgo - 4

My beer of preference:

Widmer Hefeweizen

Mirandee,

I get your point. When I lived in Annapolis I was surprised at the people I had met when visiting the Eastern Shore. Some had never left the area and ventured over the bridge. Baltimore and DC were foreign entities to them - yet I couldn't imagine not spending time in either one.

Even in Southern California we have people that lived in Norco, outside of Corona and Riverside, that still had a bit of a drawl and had never even seen Los Angelos. LOL...

I'm blessed to have had the opportunities that I have in life, from traveling, to learning about my ancestory to finding this little county. Who knows... I may actually be moving to Wackernheim, Germany or Vicenzia, Italy by January. It all depends on Mr. Leo's assignment of if he chooses to go back to the airborne unit in Italy (I could live with that) LOL
