Most Gay folk I personally know would be quite happy with a domestic or civil union which gave them the EXACT SAME RIGHTS AS OPPOSITE SEX MARRIAGES!
This means the LEGAL not the religious definition!
Like my husband, male, and myself, female, who were refused by the courthouse judges to be joined in marriage, because we refused the Christian ceremony....when all we wanted was the LEGAL papers validated.....
That is all the gay folk I know personally want also.
We can have our own Sacred Ceremonies. We only want and need that LEGAL validation!
I say WE, because our LEGAL system failed my husband and I even though we ARE of the OPPOSITE SEX! Just because we refused their Christian Ceremony. Lack of separation of Church and State made us unable to be Legally married by a Judge or Justice Of The Peace.
Don't want to call it Same Sex MARRIAGE?
FINE!
Keep the word MARRIAGE for opposite sex unions.
BUT GIVE THE GAY FOLKS THE SAME LEGAL RIGHTS AS HETEROSEXUALS who are joined in marriage.

I have never heard of that before. Maybe I have just lived in different areas, but I attended a wedding for 2 athiests that did not include any reference to God. Weird....

Well at a subtle level ejaculation in sleep also is part of the cycle of body and some energy is spent.

My point there was how we attach superstition and guilt to all our actions. Imagine how the world viewed such events 3000 or more years ago and attempted to write it in books. Or imagine the words of Matthew's verse? There wasn't such a thing as a normal eunuch. In fact no one really thought that a Eunuch could be born in the womb itself. Truly Jesus is a threat to those Hebrews around him.

Even today society does not accept them. For example someone mentioned about a naked guy with a butt plug Jesus, how judgemental some people can get.

I guess my area is backwards! But We are not the only ones this happened to.
In Erie Pennsylvania it is not an issue. But both must be Pennsylvania residents to be married there.
Believe me, it sure came as a shock to us too!
I know some Wiccans and Atheists who were married at the courthouse. But they just gave up and put up with the Christian Ceremony and the swearing on the Bible and all...since it meant nothing to them...they just went through the motions to have their legal papers validated.
Then went and had their own ceremonies.
But we could not play that game. It meant to much to our integrity to stand there and have a mockery performed upon us, a thing we considered a violation of our beliefs and a mockery to our love.. We wanted our wedding vows to be ours! Not some dogmatically laden ceremony illegally bound to the legal aspect.
Like I said we finally got "almost" what we wanted. She still performed a ceremony which we did NOT want. But at least it was short and non dogmatic.

The taboo against spilling one's seed..The sin of Onan/Onanism....which gave rise to masturbation taboos also...came about because the people back then believed that the SEMEN was THE ENTIRE BABY! In minature!
The woman was only a vessel, an incubator for the SEED.
So to them the ejaculate was only meant for procreation because any other release of it meant one had murdered a minature complete human being!
Man they would have been shocked to discover that there are millions of sperm in one ejaculate!
And that the egg is more important than the sperm. We can clone without sperm. The egg is still required.
Test tube fertilizations would have seemed godlike to them. Frozen sperm and frozen embryos, even more so!
