Eleanore,Pid's B.A. is not very similar to Bulkeley's B.A. That's the short reason as to why one is not relevant to the other. As to why it is seen as her boasting and bragging, you'd have had to have seen prior conversations where she brought up her education. IP: Logged |

I have seen at the very least one or two threads where pidaua has discussed her education. One of them included Rainbow discussing her own achievements. I do not think either of them were boasting or bragging but rather trying to show the other that they are not jealous of each other because they are (rightfully) proud of and satisfied with their accomplishments. Granted, the conversation was not nearly that congenial, but still. Regardless, I don't think that pidaua bringing up her education means she is boasting or bragging. Nor do I think she thinks she is smarter than most simply because of her education ... I think she believes she is more educated in certain fields, which she is. There is a difference. Neither do I think she holds herself above those of us who haven't gone to college. She has never once made me feel (or tried to make me feel as far as I can see) inferior or "less than" because I didn't go to college and she did. We've had a discussion(s) about education and our individual paths, and as passionate as we got, I never once felt she was being condescending or anything else that would suggest she felt like she had more worth as a person than do I. As to the study, if pidaua's B.A. being different from Bulkeley's B.A. is why you feel it shouldn't count ... then is it relevant whether or not BlueRoamer's med. school experience is focused primarily on dream psychology? See, I think both their opinions have merit as far as opinions go, with or without their educational backgrounds, just like all the rest of us. And I can also accept that everyone here is going to disagree. IP: Logged |
