I am not perfect, as none of us are, but I do have moments where I feel 'connected'. Like just now. I looked out of the window opposite this desk at the leaves in the garden blowing poetically in the breeze. That's how I feel connected sometimes.
Also, I think perhaps I might upset my neighbours sometimes but singing is extremely good for the soul. I've always enjoyed singing.

What I was really upset about what about the guy being taisered.

It is my opinion that he spoke with passion and enthusiasm, but I feel very strongly from what I saw that he did not go overboard. I did not see violence or hysteria, which would be another thing.
I saw passion and enthusiasm.

I feel that we all have the right to get angry, as long as it is controlled and projected in a useful manner, not destructive.

Balance, balance balance

If he did step over the line I do not feel that it was by very much. By no means was it necessary for the police to behave in the way they did. That way way out of line. Just watching how they reacted upset me very much.

This is the reason I put this thread up, this is the reason I have been a bit sensitive here.

You are all entitled to your own opinions. It is up to you individually to make of it what you will.

If we are going to start having a debate, I don't want to get involved, or feel I have to fight to 'force' my point.

Perhaps it was emotional of me to put the title of the thread up in capital letters, and I suppose that this in itself attracts such debate, so I am also to blame

I am not trying to put down women, I praise MOther Earth and Father Sky at every SunRise,
I am talking about women mastering themSelves, overcoming their emotions, for some are so extreme.

A generalization of, Men need to learn more mercy and compassion, a vice-verse..women must master their emotions.

I think that Truth is Truth, plain and simple, we are children of God, goverened

please, women are taught self-hatred and self-loathing from the time they are born. and continually assaulted with it in popular culture from all angles.

it's ingrained in this culture's programming of females from a very young age. it creates a cognitive dissonance that is quite difficult to overcome.

as is quite apparent in this thread.

I'm sorry, but I can't help but feel tickled by 'squabbling squirrels' at times!

I'm more worried about the corruption of your police force than any of that. I'm sure the masculine- feminine thing will work itself out in Time.

I'm not saying the conspiracy theorists are right. Like I've said before.....I do not have "blind faith" in ANYTHING. I'm sure you have to look at BOTH sides to get the most accurate picture of what is going on. Just focusing on ONE biased sides distorts this, I feel.
