BR is right. Idiots are alive and thriving in EVERY country, socio-economic background and race. Just because some people hate the US Military (Or the US in general) doesn't mean that this situation is indicative of a behaviour that is rampant within the Military (or Army as Mannu always refers to. Please keep in mind we have more than just the 'Army' we also have the Air Force, Navy and Marines).The Marine that did this needs to have his unit and balls cut off with a very dull spoon. The Marine Corps is already looking for the individual and authenticating the tape. I do find it amusing (but not surprising) that several of the knowflakes here would jump on the chance to crucify Americans and our Military. Then again, you 2 are ALWAYS the ones that try to find anything you can to put this country and our Military down LOL...
We should take it as a compliment though. You both are so obsessed with the US that you can't even be bothered with your own country.
BTW, I highly doubt that BR would protect or stand up for anyone just based on their "Hotness" factor. He may be a straight shooter with arrows to pierce even the hardest armor but he is not one that will BS people or protect anyone just because they make him feel tingly all over. What you said was a remark, that to me, could only be taken as being against those that are homosexual. Then again, maybe I am just sensitive because I have many gay friends and I would hate for others to say what you did to BR to them.

Writesomething.. You make a great point. So many people are concentrating on this and not other issues going on in this world.
As to the comment about Soldiers or those in the Military not being as intelligent as others- BS. I have posted the stats. The Military, ALL branches, as a whole is smarter than the general population. The Military has more high school graduates, more college undergraduates and more graduate school diploma recipients than the the general population.
Most Military people that leave the service and go on to civilian jobs make more more money and are more successful than those that have never served. I will post all the demographics if need be, just let me know and I will do it. I am tired of people saying that the IQ of the Military is lower than the population when that statement is actually false. BR.. in that regard I am disappointed in you. You are smart enough to look up the stats but you spoke from an anti-Military point of view rather than a logical one. I love you bunches but you are wrong on that point about the Military and those being young and having lower IQ's. Maybe I should post a comparison with the stats of those in college that do stupid things (like drinking and driving, taking drugs, commiting rape and the list could go on) and those in the Military. We should even look at the punishment assigned to each group. I can guarentee you that the Military has far less issues than college campuses and deals more harshly with offender than most entities ever would. IP: Logged |

The apparent stereotyping built in to any discussion by any people is inescapable. I just wanted to give back what it feels to be on the receiving end. Venusdeindia often complained here about that when some of you did the same to her. Anyhow, I was teasing BR. Knowing the excellent sense of humor that he has, I am sure he won't mind my comment. It was not to incite any hatred. I just could not tolerate the disgrace that soldier brought to the uniform. Not to mention appararent killing for no reason. Hence got a little carried away. I think I told you people my dad was in Naval defense too. So I know what it means to protect the people. FYI: The root word of Navy comes from the Sanskrit word (Nou). Must have been brought to the world by british.

lets hope for the sake of ur sanity u did NOT imply me..LMAO, i actually said that it happens everywhere.not only that i also talked about the similar sad happenings that i see around me.
