Once I glimpsed Heaven
I heard home in a voice
High on a mountain

I took a step and stumbled
Down into a ravene

Was an awesome, dark,scene

Twisting paths shadowed,
By tall, majestic tree's
Which one shall I take?
I was brought to my knees

Frozen by the choice
But knew I must decide
I ventured hastly and
Was no more the wise

This way and that way
I was turned inside out
Lost and frightened
My heart beating with doubt

In my darkest hour
That voice, strong and clear
Reaching out, Guiding
Soothing away my fear

Back upon high ground
Heaven stands before me
Closer then before
One step, two, then three
