(The picture) Love it!

I like the lines of the man. I am a person who loves to dress formally (in dark colors of course), so his attire is appealing to me.

And the sea, well I'm a seagoat former sailor, so I love that as well.

I can see you in that way! You are to me a man who if given the chance would love deeply.
And be very romantic and sexy....yet old fashioned gentleman about it. I find that a very enchanting blend.
Love
Fayte

I've dreamt about that man. Well ... you know ... someone who looks like him.

Always from the back, usually with a hat on though. And always that damn walking stick.

Not sure what the subconscious symbology is all about.

Very interesting!
Anything more about your dreams of such a man? If you do not wish to reveal more...that is ok....but it does sound most intriguing!

Don't really have much more.

He's rather uptight.

But I like that in guy.

1st time I saw him, he was standing in front of a grave outside my bedroom window.

You know who's got bad knees typically?

That's right: Capricorns

quote:
Capricorn governs the knees, bones and skin, so its subjects may be liable to fractures and strains of the knees and other defects of the legs.

http://www.astrology-online.com/capricrn.htm

Course it could've been Willy Wonka, too.

Hee hee....
Wonker?

Reminds me of Wanker.

Hey AG! Well...you deserve nice words to be said to and of you!
And yes...it does look like clouds and mist over mountains too!

It didn't occur to me that it was anything but fog. A sea of fog.

Am I being oblivious again?

I think maybe my problem with Wonka was the mismatched attire. Clashing colors give me the heebie-jeebies. He seemed very sad to me. I always imagined him a widower.

Which oddly enough brings me back to the dream, which brings me back to the painting.

I love circles.

I think the painting is supposed to be a sea of fog...over land or sea...your choice! That is one reason I like it!
And yes...WW does seem very sad.
Reminds me of other characters like J.Depp in Sleepy Hollow.

Of course. I really am a ditz.

At the moment I'm not blonde, but I probably should be.

Lovely thought, fayte. (way back a few posts, lol) It feels so.

I agree with fayte, Acoustic. The words Dignity and Honor come to mind too.

...dare I ask where the knees come into play?

I love Willy. He was a cool cat, wasn't he? Unique, Bizzare, Twisted (hehe)...yet a bit whimsical and melancholy too. Always left me wondering what his life story would have been. He seemed to maybe have some mysterious painful past, don't you think?

hehe....love all the directions this post has traveled since I've last been here.
Too cool.
