This thrust
this coming movement
is beyond hip flexors
or body silk
it lies in the womb of energy
an action picture
in a sea of stills
yet within the momentum
where I fall like honey
thoughts sticky thick
and sealed in the tummy
the invasion of the senses
is comfort yet
and comfort spent
in interludes
of solitude
this fortitude
and attitude
strength in numbers
and in depth
this book is not quite written yet
I forget
to stop writing and just to be
though it calls to me
so this is a pause
a waiting in the wading pool
feet wet beget
droplets of moisture travelling up to be seen
again
anew
in you
It doesn't matter how you see me
comfort in regularity
lifelove's ambiguity
stopped in the heart fold
as it flutters on wings
newly formed
a simple touch would wipe away ability to fly
and simple words wipe away the tears I often cry
it is my lesson though learning makes me bleed
in place
as I sit
energy thrusting
my memory entrusting
faith costs too much these days
I've spoken through the loving haze
met it lighter and heavy still
trespassed through my living will
walked into my chest to rest
a light and dark forever guessed

You know Pix, my first impression of this is birth. It has sad undertones though.. almost mournful yet so beautiful. Every time I read your poetry / spiralled words.. I try and describe what it is exactly that I love.. but I'm usually absolutely facinated.

I think it's the detailed way you describe moments.. and how you make regular human senses come alive.. the way you pay attention to detail to take the reader through the moment with you.

Other than that, I put it down to my Leo Desc
