Every amazing bit.
I liked this first thing:

"During such experiences, guiding spirits shield from our vision all but the moment."

I almost had to post right then because I was bursting to applaud, throw myself at your feet and gaze adoringly up at you as I drank in every word. What a perfect insight.

I found about 3 more perfect quotes, loved the Gospel by Marley (you are delicious hehe) and then just quit obsessing about "Oh! I have to remember this one! And this one!" and just relaxed back and experienced every moment. There was only one moment that wasn't almost complete perfection, but that part was perfect too because it made the rest shine all the more brightly and perfectly.

Aww, thank you, Melody.

Huh? What?
Something less than perfect?

What was it, Mel?
Constructive criticism welcome.

You made me cry.

Beautiful needed tears.

I was cradled.

Thank you so much.

Stephen, it is truly inspiring.
Such a blessed gift to share...
even moreso to receive.

(I'm short on words just now...
though very much feeling)

hehe I actually agonized over this yesterday because I just KNEW you would think, "something less than perfect?!" hehe and I wanted to clarify but couldn't disturb the LL silence. It is a good thing I hadn't read your reply or I would have agonized more. : p

Ohhh, you only got a 99.99999999%, you should just give up now, eh? : D You are so like me.

Ok, here is the part:

"The Lord gives us all that we have, and is not done giving. Open the gifts of the Lord. Children, do not wonder: All is welcome. All is forgiven. As you ache, I ache for you with you. I'm there, inside you, like a child, welcome or unwelcome. Your contractions are only occassioned by my hastening to you. You, the Virgin Mother, and I, the Lord, your God. To some it is madness, to others a secret bliss. Mother, will you love me, small as I am? Will you carry this child to term? Embrace the formless spirit within this broken form? I, the Lord God, am this child."

I love this part, the flow was just stopped for me because you changed from third person to first person and then back again etc... but I was trying to say that it was a GOOD stop and meant to Be. That it was like a perfect stop to the melody with a trippy drum beat, and the stop made me read it more than once, fully considering how We All are God and God is Us and masculine/feminine etc etc and although it was technically flawed (but not really, those were the "gifts"), it made the piece even more powerful because of what it was... and what a perfect place for the "flaw" to make its illusionary appearance, eh? In the part where We are switching our consciousness back and forth between Being Self, self and creation and creator.

K, does that make sense?

Here is your

beautiful love and light and peace

I already saved it, of course, and if you were here, I would print it and ask you to sign a copy. You are a writer and it is time to begin thinking about what you want to say and who you want to say it to. It is time to compile your works and seamlessly weave them into a Message that will save souls.

I love you

Lisa,

Thank you, darling woman, magical Lisa. So much I want to say to you. My admiration for you is always growing, and I have new blossoms and fruits to gather, new bouquets and baskets to set before you, angel woman. Lisa, you write as if you could read on my heart the words I long to hear. You have great power to push my buttons and to play my keys. But you never push, and always play beautifully the song of my own heart. I only wish you might know what it means to me to be seen by you, by your incomparably gentle, yet penetrating eyes. The little boy, the little performer in me, wants only to please you and see you smile and laugh with insight and delight, or shed some purifying tear, in response to any words of mine. You often remind me of this poem I wrote:

Melody,

My admiration and appreciation for you is of another order, but it is essentially the same, as you hear and reflect with equal power another side of me. You are both so precious to me, and I can hardly see myself, and would not see myself so multi-dimensionally, without the both of you reflecting me from differing angles, and illuminating me with the warmth of your shining praises. I am indebted to you both beyond measure.

The point you raised about speaking alternately in the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd person occurred to me. I think I did that in a few places. At first, it struck me as incongruent, but, then, I discoverd something decidedly spiritual in this seeming incongruousness, which is really a mystic's tendency to pass over the boundaries of the Self without preface or even notice. Like riding a wave to where it breaks, now I speak as myself, now I speak as one inspired, and now the Lord speaks through me. I did not realize what I was doing at the time, but it seems to me now that I was not merely changing tenses (past, present, future; self, Self, God), but being carried along by a flow. For me, to change tenses seemed as natural as changing my tone, to reflect the shape and stature of the various insights. And where it may strike the reader as abrupt, the real surprise, I think, is that this "abruptness" goes unrecognized, and unapologized for, by the author. And you seemed to be struck by this as well, and to catch the hidden significance of it. It was the imperfection that brought suddenly to awareness a greater, more mysterious perfection; the crack through which the true light shone through. Or do I flatter myself? In any case, this is how I would choose to view and explain it.

quote:
Ohhh, you only got a 99.99999999%, you should just give up now, eh? You are so like me.

Yeahhhhh. You get it.

Thank you for encouraging me to begin the harvest. Ordering these things seamlessly is the hardest part, and not one of my talents, but I know it must be done. I still wait for perfection, for my wisdom to mature and coalesce. In the words of Bob Dylan, "I'll know my song well before I start singing." But I do not want to wait too long. And I would rather harvest something imperfect, than wait for the frost to settle on my fruits. Reading the seasons is not easy. Is it time to gather? Will I know when it is time? I look forward with hope to these next few years, while my Saturn returns in Virgo, as a time of harvesting and setting my perceptions in order. I suspect this will be the season.

I've edited this a few times and am not finished with it yet, so, you may want to re-save this latest version. Here is one example of an edit... Only the final sentence has been added to the following paragraph, in order to clarify my meaning.

Thank you so much for saying that you hope more people will read and experience this larger piece.

I love you too.

awww, Melody.

Stephen, thank you.
That was so beautiful of you...I'm just so touched.

I love when you are happy.
As well, you should be!
You've birthed a flowing vessel.
Alive Loving Energy that will carry on beyond you.
(speaking of babies, lol)

Can I get a raincheck?
I have more to say,
but I need to shut down for a time.

I just happened on this writing. Maybe a bit late in my reponse to it but nonetheless, have to say I was riveted by your words, Steve.

I found it very beautiful, very inspiring and beyond that, inspired writing as well. I felt you were soaring spiritually when you wrote this and I could feel it in your words as they also transported me to where you were when you wrote this peice. What I am attempting to say is that I felt your words came from the soul.

I think it is the most beautifully written piece I have ever read of yours, Steve. Truly inspiring. It was a treat to read because it stirred my soul. I honestly felt, no sensed, that it was God speaking to me through your words. Which is why I said I felt they were inspired as well as inspiring.

Not to mention that I soooooo agree with your thoughts in all your words here.

Awesome, HSC and thank you so much for this writing. It's a keeper and I think it should be published. I have read many spiritual writings in my time that were beautiful and inspired ( some by mystics and saints ) but none as beautiful and moving as this.

I had a teacher, a priest at the seminary, Msgr. Zenz, who, when he talked of God had the ability to transport you and make your soul soar. I loved his classes for that reason. That is the same effect your writing here had on me.

Thank you so much Mirandee,
and thank you, Silverstone, too.

I misplaced this piece when we switched to the new computer, so i might have forgotten it altogether if you hadnt brought it back to my attention, Mirandee, so thank you. It is in my files now for sure. I have begun ordering my writings, and looking into self-publishing. There is a website, Publish Today, I think its called, that I may use. So nice to hear from you, and to hear such elevating praise. Thank you again.
