It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas Ev'rywhere you go Take a look in the five-and-ten, Glistening once again With candy canes and silver lanes aglow. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas Toys in ev'ry store But the prettiest sight to see Is the holly that will be On your own front door. A pair of hop-a-long boots and a pistol that shoots Is the wish of Barney and Ben Dolls that will talk and will go for a walk Is the hope of Janice and Jen And mom and dad can hardly wait for school to start again. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas Ev'rywhere you go There's a tree in the Grand Hotel, One in the park as well The sturdy kind that doesn't mind the snow. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas Soon the bells will start And the thing that will make them ring Is the carol that you sing Right within your heart. IP: Logged |

Haul out the holly Put up the tree before my spirit falls again Fill up the stocking I may be rushing things, but deck the halls again nowFor we need a little Christmas Right this very minute Candles in the window Carols at the spinet Yes, we need a little Christmas Right this very minute It hasn't snowed a single flurry But Santa, dear, we're in a hurry So climb down the chimney Turn on the brightest string of light I've ever seen Slice up the fruitcake It's time we hung some tinsel on that evergreen bough For I've grown a little leaner Grown a little colder Grown a little sadder Grown a little older And I need a little angel Sitting on my shoulder Need a little Christmas now For we need a little music Need a little laughter Need a little singing Ringing through the rafters And we need a little sappy "Happily ever after" Need a little Christmas now Well, I've been Christmasing since I got back from Kokomo...

In honor of the "Christ" in Christmas... Love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love. There's nothing you can do that can't be done. Nothing you can sing that can't be sung. Nothing you can say but you can learn how to play the game It's easy. There's nothing you can make that can't be made. No one you can save that can't be saved. Nothing you can do but you can learn how to be in time It's easy. All you need is love, all you need is love, All you need is love, love, love is all you need. Love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love. All you need is love, all you need is love, All you need is love, love, love is all you need. There's nothing you can know that isn't known. Nothing you can see that isn't shown. Nowhere you can be that isn't where you're meant to be. It's easy. All you need is love, all you need is love, All you need is love, love, love is all you need. All you need is love (all together now) All you need is love (everybody) All you need is love, love, love is all you need. The Beatles IP: Logged |

I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day Their old familiar carols play, And wild and sweet the words repeat Of peace on earth, good will to men.I thought how, as the day had come, The belfries of all Christendom Had rolled along the unbroken song Of peace on earth, good will to men. And in despair I bowed my head: "There is no peace on earth," I said, "For hate is strong and mocks the song Of peace on earth, good will to men." Then pealed the bells more loud and deep: "God is not dead, nor doth he sleep; The wrong shall fail, the right prevail, With peace on earth, good will to men." Till, ringing singing, on its way, The world revolved from night to day, A voice, a chime, a chant sublime, Of peace on earth, good will to men! (Henry Wadsworth Longfellow (1807-1882), 1867)

Where Are You Christmas?Where are you Christmas Why can't I find you Why have you gone away Where is the laughter You used to bring me Why can't I hear music play My world is changing I'm rearranging Does that mean Christmas changes too Where are you Christmas Do you remember The one you used to know I'm not the same one See what the time's done Is that why you have let me go Christmas is here everywhere, oh Christmas is here if you care, oh If there is love in your heart and your mind You will feel like Christmas all the time I feel you Christmas I know I've found you You never fade away The joy of Christmas Stays here in silence Fills each and every heart with love Where are you Christmas Fills your heart with love. Whenever I hear this song I think of my Grandma who used to play it around the holidays and she got such a kick out of it... Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer
Grandma got run over by a reindeer. Walking home from our house Christmas eve. You can say there's no such thing as Santa, But as for me and grandpa we believe. She'd been drinking too much eggnog, And we begged her not to go. But she forgot her medication, and she Staggered out the door into the snow. When we found her Christmas morning, At the scene of the attack, She had hoof-prints on her forehead, And incriminating Claws marks on her back. Now we're all so proud of grandpa, He's been taking this so well. See him in there watching football, Drinking beer and Playing cards with Cousin Mel. It's not Christmas without Grandma, All the family's dressed in black And we just can't help but wonder: Should we open up her gifts, Or send them back? Send them back!! Now the goose is on the table And the pudding made of fig ahhh And the blue and silver candles That would just have matched The hair on grandma's wig. I've warned all my Friends and neighbors Better watch out for yourselves, They should never give a license To a man who drives a sleigh And plays with elves.

hmmmm... wonder what Melody watched on television tonight... ? "First we'll make snow angels for two hours, then we'll go ice skating, then we'll eat a whole roll of Tollhouse Cookie-dough as fast as we can, and then we'll snuggle."
~Buddy the elf Puffin: Hey Buddy wanna pick some snowberries? Buddy: Not now Arctic Puffin!
Buddy: [out of breath from chasing Michael] Wow, you're fast. I'm glad I caught up to you. I waited 5 hours for you. Why is your coat so big? So, good news - I saw a dog today. Have you seen a dog? You probably have. How was school? Was it fun? Did you get a lot of homework? Huh? Do you have any friends? Do you have a best friend? Does he have a big coat, too?...
Michael: - Go away !
Gimbel's Manager: This, is the North Pole. Buddy: No it isn't. Gimbel's Manager: Yes it is. Buddy: No it isn't. Gimbel's Manager: Yes it is! Buddy: No it isn't! Where's the snow?
Gimbel's Manager: Why are you smiling like that? Buddy: I just like to smile, smiling's my favorite
