I used to think, in my youth and ignorance (yeah.... like that's much different than how I am now... we are always "ignorant"..)
that giving in to a higher power was just that... giving in..

..I understand a little better now, that it's all about what you, internally, feel to be self-evident and true.

I believe that we are all capable of peace. That in ourSelves, we want nothing but the human truth of understanding.

It is not my, nor the fault of the masses, of our misuse of this right.

We are given (in life, afterlife, proof of life, and anything granted to us on this mortal coil) the right of free will.

What we choose to do with it, is what makes us who we are meant to be.

I see it all the time. People who are educated; who have been granted the right of 'education', as much as can be given in this country.

People who are 'educated', or, have lived enough to express an education that others dream of, and often consider 'weak' or below what they are taught is a real education.

I bring this up because, although it seems to be in favor to be an 'educated' person... the Gods will give you what you seek... if you are looking to the right God... right?

Just an asinine idea... but it seems like no matter who, or what each person holds true and dear to themselves, they all sell out to some "God", at some point in their lives.... even if it is fundamentally against what they belive to be true...

I don't think any of us are foolish enough to think our "Gods" are those we have been raised on...

.. so, what are they, then? Are they the jobs we have? The lovers we take to our beds? The dreams in our minds? What are our Gods?

WHO are our Gods? Do they inspire us? Do they ask us to be faithful only to them? Are they just and omnipotent?

I wonder sometimes... who are YOUR Gods?
