I met you, and now this mare gleams
I met you, and we became two
And this two will become one soon

My prince, you have shown your face to me
And soon, your princess I will be
You rode in on a metallic steed
And swept me away to be one with me

I met you, and you met me
Together as one we shall be
We are soul mates, this I can see
I am meant for you, and you are meant for me

thank you MysticMelody, and it was the first, original poem i have written since high school. i'm not a poet at heart so i was surprised with myself that i had the urge to write since i'm more of a sketcher, i like to draw...i guess i hadnt produced any art in so long that i needed to get somthing artful and creative out and i used my love for my soon-to-be husband as inspiration

i had used some very meaningful symbols in it also. such as the water overflowing at the gate of the river, thats how i felt with my emotions, like they were blocked from me, and he held the key to that gate and he opened it up for me. also when i referred to him as a stallion its because his chinese zodiac sign is a horse. and the part of the prince and princess is because he said to me 'i'll treat you like a princess'

ugh, stupid gemini ascendant....i done and went and explained everything.....*sigh* cant help it though...
