Pearlty, Sibelius !! ((I normally don't click on blind-urls (songs that aren't labeled)... some bad experiences there.))Back in the 1970s/80 I worked on compiling manuscripts for someone's inspirational books, and for one woman's autobiography. I use to create cassette tapes of music to prime my Muse. I found them to be energetic 'bookmarks' where I could find my way back to a particular flow or writing-space for the work I was involved in. Music, as The Bridge and Bookmark in the Spirit This piece of music was the opener in one of my first cassettes. (music) Pachelbel's Canon in D [6:11] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hOA-2hl1Vbc I have sooooooo many 'favorites' from all different kinds of music. If someone did a computer-search of everything that starts with " (music) " you'd probably have 'my list'... I did it on purpose to code all my (music) that 'same' way and pattern so I could find all my songs some day when I finally learn the ins and outs of signing up for an account with youtube. This has been soooo long term now. One of these days I'll manifest a computer-mentor who can teach me...... IP: Logged |

Lovely musing song thequeen I can see why that touches you. Love the piano, mine holds a lot of old roots which opened up channels of creativity for me. When words were stifled- playing even out of tune, did the trick. My husband often asks "if I'm ready to get rid of it yet?" we could make a breakfast bar where it sits, but I insist on keeping it- you never know when you want to pick up playing again- plus the nostalgia. Neat story above Mirage! IP: Logged |

It's great to know you enjoy playing piano. You must be loving Adele who uses so much piano in her compositions.IP: Logged |

I liked the piano pieces. I also liked the song LeeLoo posted. Florence, I have a history with the song you posted, and I feel it so bad because It stroke an inharmonious chord with me, since I didn't want then nor do I want now to "lose my religion".

I have a present with the song and I feel like you've now censored that. I'll refrain from posting any more in case I strike other inharmonious chords! IP: Logged |

Florence, you shouldn't refrain from posting anything you like! I didn't mean to make you feel bad! I just wanted to relate to what you posted and share something personal. Perhaps that was a mistake. Did I really sound so harsh? My apologies. Never meant to censure what you feel. Perhaps, since I don't know you and haven't commented on what you post before, I should have been more careful. I didn't think what I have written would provoke such a reaction, otherwise I wouldn't have written it at all!!! I am terribly sorry!! Please accept my apologies and come back to post whatever you like. My experience shouldn't censure yours. I simply understand I need to be more careful in what I write. IP: Logged |

I'm so sorry, I've obviously read it in the wrong way and over-reacted. Thank you for being so gracious about it and explaining and Im sorry too that it did open a wound, although I get now you were sharing an experience and not to censure. IP: Logged |

Thank you for understanding. This is exactly what I meant, to share a personal experience. I am glad you understood I meant no malice. Don't worry about the wound, it is something I am dealing with. You may know how sometimes the music around us turns to be the soundtrack of important moments in our lives. It is interesting how the same piece can play different roles in the lives of different people. I think this song is powerful. That is why it touched me... IP: Logged |
