I am in awe of how the tarot readers on LL are so intuitive and get to the heart of the matter instantaneously. Given that card meanings offer so many alternatives, it is a wonder how their intution leads them to focus on the right interpretations. In fact, come readers seem to pay little attention to the card itself but use it as a trigger to access additional meanings.

I would love to hear anyone tell their story as to how they got to be so accurate - or how they do it. What is your special method?

Intuition is a false concept when it comes to Tarot. You can see adepts of intuitive reading screw up again and again and yet they keep claiming they are "usually accurate"

I personally come from a family where women have read cards for generations, so it's not like I had to learn or anything. Heredity apparently. I am currently learning to (better) integrate my empathic skills into my readings, because it turns out I do tune in with the emotions of others if I make an effort

Your best friend is symbolism. I.e. you sit down and read Waite, Golden Dawn people etc. There's a lot of things in there that cannot be grasped without proper research.

Plus my experience has been that having those unusual skills/talents makes readers a cut above the rest, which is why I am so motivated to work on mine. At first I was like "no, I dont have anything in me", and then the (awesomely talented) Ari from LL kind of said I should be more in touch with this side of myself, so whatever. But I became aware of it not so long ago, after just reading cards relying on symbolism. Then it sort of just kicked in. Intuition has never been part of it.

Just found this in my mail Might be helpful in regards to your question http://www.thetarotlady.com/common-sixth-sense-tarot-is-a-gateway/

Think the key is to find what suits you most. When you work with the cards more, you will notice what suits your personal style, but it's a natural process in my opinion. No right or wrong as long as you follow what feels right for you & you retrieve the information/insights you seek for
