Personality of the Illuminated Tarot: 1. The World - open to everything. Positive & knowing 2. Ace of Wands - inspiring, giving a new zest for life 3. 4 of pentacles - narrow minded questions/not working with 'closed hearts' 4. 8 of pentacles - refining skills 5. The Star - let inspiration lead the way, healing issues, combine it with astrology (?) 6. The Fool - finding a completely new approach - following hunches - we are going on an adventure! IP: Logged |

Tarot the Marseille seems to resonate with you better. Visconti will be a lot of hard work, but I like that it seems to be a 'logical deck'. Actually they both are, but 6 of swords likes to search for solutions in a detached manner, while Marseille just simply states: x happened and thus you are now at point Y. I think that might be clearer to work with. IP: Logged |

Gee you are right Still I work with Visconti more. The third card or so almost always tells me what I should do. When I want the easy answers I go for my Marseille deck IP: Logged |

my Illuminati Tarot Deck 1. Tell me about yourself. What is your most important characteristic?
Strength Strength, union between instincts and mental processes 2. What are your strengths as a deck? 9 of wands not giving up, persistence 3. What are your limits as a deck? Princess (Page) of Cups Not very emotional, imaginative or creative, less fantasy
4. What do you bring to the table -- what are you here to teach me?
King of Wands confidence 5. How can I best learn from and collaborate with you? 10 of wands
Work much with it, really give it my all, anything else would not be enough for this deck 6. What is the potential outcome of our working relationship? The Hierophant That gave me goosepumps there: spiritual guidance (which is what we want from a Tarot-deck, right?)
It seems this one is rather, well, demanding.

I have had it here for since you emailed the pictures, cause I liked them so much. I still do, but am a bit gunshy around that deck for some reason and have not yet started working with it. Actually I pull it out at times to just marvel at the images. lol I know it is a rather negative card but I love the 5 of pentacles here.
Other favourite cards are: 3 of swords - do not laugh, it is beautiful imagery the Hermit 2 of swords 8 of swords Moon 6 of cups Strength Princess of cups 2 of cups - so beautiful and totaly reflecting my view on this card 8 of wands Ace of cups 5 of cups - yes, lonely, but beautiful in its sadness The wheel Prince of cups 10 of cups I do not really like the other court cards though. The deck feels very rich, voluptuous and medieval. It makes me think of Marco Polo and Samarkand for some reason. lol EDIT: Like usualy I don`t like the 9 of cups one little bit. lol

Good idea Twirl! Here is my interp. :1: Most important characteristic: 7 pentacles= is depth and wisdom; is very tough (?) but not in a violent negative way, in a strong character type of way. 2: Strengths as a deck:6 cups= gentle, balanced and a sense of comfort/familiarity 3: limits as a deck: 2 of swords= may be too gentle? 4: what the deck will teach me : death= transformation 5: how i can best learn and collaborate with deck: ace of wands= to be enthusiastic/optimistic but not to rely solely on the cards to dictate certain things; my actions externally are required 6:what is potential outcome of this relationship(w/deck): 8 of wands= gaining more energy and enthusiasm IP: Logged |
