hoping to get some clarity on a reading that seems too good to be true. My ex and I Broke up a couple of months ago due to complications. He still wants to see me, but I refuse, and I asked the tarots if we're done using a past present future spread. I received the
9 of wands
King of Pentacles
ace of cups.
I waited a fees days and did another with the question, are we getting back together and received the
Moon
Chariot
And 2 of cups. I am too naive to be this happy and hopeful?
My other questions is can someone help me or do a time reading for me ...if we are to get back together when will it happen?

If you asked a Yes/No - question, are you DONE, and getting the Yes cards, then it means that yes you are done, and something new will come (Ace).

That is why I find this spread difficult, you get positive cards, but might feel the Yes-answer is a negative one in this case.
And thhose cup cards are looking so nice and relationshiporiented, but the way your question is phrased, I find it confusing.

hmm, the Moon is very unclear, the 2 of cups is positive, the chariot could be either moving towards each other or moving away from each other.

Are you sure you are in the right (detached) state of mind pulling cards for yourself?
Thing is that if we are very emotionally invested the cards we pull for ourselves often can depict our wishes or fears. not always though, sometimes they fit. it is difficult to discren this though.

the spread itself is good yes, moving awy from the confusion and unclarity towards a mutual emotional connection.

Past:Moon
Present: Chariot
Future: 2 of cups
So for me I understood it that the the phase of mistrust is over and in the past.
The Chariot being about choice, we've both choosing to do everything but be together.
2 of cups: love and unity.

I don't ever feel uncertain about pulling my own cards. They have always been very accurate for me. When we are going through the tough phase, I received the usual cards , the 3, 9, 10 of swords, then the 5 and 8 of cups. So I feel confident when I draw my own cards. And fairly good about where we'll head. TY
