Asked a question & dared to look at the page, it was the page with the snoopy cartoons near the back, * * * tears started welling up & that was it. Then it fell open to another page around canto 15 which I had read but didn't remember - I mean it seemed to read diffently.. I ordered all of Linda's books on amazon, all second hand so they come from real, living people instead of some warehouse. I used to own Sun Sings, Love Signs and Star Signs, but lost the first two, I guess I was meant to find my own way and learn my own lessons for a while. Now, I have ordered mostly all her works again and it feels so empowering inside to have her with me! Even if I know most of them by heart, it feels so nice to have them close to me. Gooberz was the first one to arrive for me too, it came from this wonderful lady somewhere in Wichita. The thing that freaked me out the most was that the poetry in that book sounded like something I would write(I write poetry). She has used exactly my words, to portray exactly my thoughts. And since I am going through turmoil in my personal life, her story has become my story! Its uncanny how that book reflects my life ... It is pretty cold here in New York but it hadnt snowed yet, I mean we had had flurries and bitter cold but no snow at all. I was reading Gooberz and I reached a part where she reminds him that they had planned to make a snowman in the first snow - and when I looked outside the ground was covered with the magical white stuff! This is just one of the many examples of times I have felt that book is a living entity and that Linda has somehow inscribed a part of herself in it! IP: Logged

When I was reading it before there was noone to share it with, unless they read it and feel that way.... Planning to get a flatbed scanner with OCR capabilties so I should be able to scan cantos easily for posting for those who still don't have... It's been awhile ~~~ wonder what I'll get new this time around,..... now it'll be mine and I can refer to it all I want this is sooooo coooool!!!! feel like a kid waiting on xmas morning!!!!
