Heehee!!!

I gave my mother a copy of Gooberz.
At first I was skeptical that she wouldn't read it because it may not have been what she liked in a book.
Anyway she is almost at the end and she LOVES it!
She came to lindaland not long ago, and I hope she joins.
As soon as she gets cable running I know she will, and this will be the first forum she will come to.
So I want to leave her a welcome thread to make her feel special.

Hello, Every One ! Thank you for the warm welcome into Lindaland. Hello to my beautiful SunChild - happy, sunny, optimistic, ever helpful, insightful and most of all a LOVING Little Lion! Thank you for giving me GOOBERZ - so timely, too, as I was entering a tumultuous relationship with a very strong LEO. Reading GOOBERZ helped me so much to develop tolerance, forgivness, to not talk back impulsively and to not take things so personally! Greetings to all you druids, knowflakes, and all good S-elves!
thank you for your posts urging me to reply -
where have I been? I have been at this very computer, but working, working. I am partnered to a very dynamic Leo (that should explain a lot, now shouldn't it? Hee, Hee) and when I'm not working for his sister (I'm a publicist, she's a film-maker) I'm working for my partner, he's a singer/acoustic guitarist,(by night) (and as my SunChild says "he's lucky he can sing and play because that gives him the vehicle to get the attention Leos always crave!)I'm always doing something to do with his music. (Designing his CD covers, researching venues to get gigs, compiling a database for his promotion, etc.) This is the first quiet moment I've had to send a post! I hope all is well with everyone. I am almost finished reading Gooberz, I'm at the part where Gooober returns! But, oh, I only have the wakefulness for a page or two every other night or so ! Isn't it incredible how "ALIVE" Linda seems when reading Gooberz?!
Has anyone else out there in the OOber Galaxy learned lessons from her book, and applied those lessons in life? I would love to read some stories from y'all! Oh, and a funny thing keeps happening - because I send a lot of e-mails, everytime I type a word that has O as a second letter it always happens upper-case, without me being aware that I'm doing it! Just like in Linda's book! And in case we need reminding (I know I do, I'm so forgetful of s-elf these days!) we are all angels with a mission on this planet. Know thy mission! Once you know that, the path becomes CLEAR!
Use your wings to deflect the hurts that come your way - mostly not meant as personally as we feel them, as most people operate from ego, fear, anger or un-met need. Understand this, then everything falls into perspective. In other words, don't respond with your ego.
Respond with love and understanding of the other. (Don't know where all that came from - it just did!)

(I just gave Mum Star Signs as she's finished Gooberz, she read it in backwards order that I'd normally recommend, but I think she can cope with it)
