Hi Everyone! I found the book Gooberz on Saturday, or shall I say it found me!

I'm new to Lindaland, but not Linda's work.

Just wanted to share the news!

Hi SunChild! Yes I'm in - very cool huh? angel_of_hope and I have a very special relationship. She is my future daughter in law. My Grandmother got me started with Linda's work back in the 80's. She is since passed but left so much to me, and now I have passed this on to angel_of_hope. She is a quick learner, ever searching. Now we will read Gooberz together. It's been wonderful to pass Linda's work on to my little

awwwww Ma! You made me cry! But let it be known that these are happy tears!

Everything Happens for a Reason !

I began reading Gooberz again last night. Two things jumped out at me (well alot more than that)
#1 - In the Canto One - Linda talks about how she almost died as a small child. And that her mother wouldnt listen to doctors and went and saw old Mr. Earley and his goat named Sue. Linda was fed that goats milk and survived what doctors had told her mother she wouldnt. linda then comments ... this is the neat part ... she says Ifind it ironic that the milk of a goat should save the life of a baby ram. Sound framiliar???? I immediatly though of Mike whos also a Aries and had to drink goats milk....

#2 - I was reading right along getting wrapped up in every little detail when all of the sudden the exact words I read were just said on T.V .... exact .... which immediatly caught my attention. So I went on the read the line foling the "exact words" here's what was said and what I read after ....
For years and years and years

I trembled, and tremored and and shook with unnamed fears.

This is all in regards to the Al-tar. pg 26.

The words hit right at home with what I went thru with Jan about the "not allowing myself to be happy, feeling the pain of others, etc ... " but consciously not knowing WHY im in this rut?? ... pretty wild huh!

another ironic thing, just like the Jan thing Ma, is that if it werent for you then I wouldnt be searching. And I wouldnt have found linda land. But again, like Jan (only visa versa) you found linda, but I came first. And then you! maybe we are to guide on another!

Hi Angel - Good tears A lot of doors have been opened for all of us and it's up to us to take the right road I guess.....

Wow that is neat....Well I have my journal and now I can write down the things that I think of or remember while on the Gooberz journey....

And you were the one that found Jan for Me!

I've been doing pretty good. Had a rough few of weeks but have pulled thru it all.
The pup, Carrera, is doing wondeful! she is growing sooooooo fast, its amazing. Her thing now is to communicate with us thru her paws ... its been years, and years since I had a dog in the house so im pretty stoked about having her. Even hunny notices the difference in me .... maybe she was to rescue me!?!?!? instead of visa-versa!

Hi ang,
I'm really glad to hear you have pulled through and are doing better. Carrera sounds so cute. And I'm sure she has played a part in your healing. Yes, sometimes animals do rescue their owners. I cant wait to someday get a dog. All the best to the three of you!

Hi 26!

Im sorry I didnt see you had replied.
ty 26! you've got such a great heart!

ohhh gosh! Not as far as I'd like to be. Honestly i have read up to Canto three. I havent had a lot of down time to sit and read. I plan on picking it up again this weekend. Since my Ram will be busy working on his race car, and the house is already cleaned, i will have the chance to sit and read. The weather is supposed to be fairly nice so i may even get to sit outside and read.

So far I really really like it. I have picked it up and read misc points. but i find i am lost and quickly shut it! lol

Hi All! I just love the book - I'm up to Canto 13. But Like Angel, we all need more time to relax and read! I'm hoping to do some more this weekend. I asked my mom this weekend if my Grandmother ever mentioned Gooberz - she could't recall. My grandmother was the one who gave me Star Sign many years ago...

I may even sit out side too!

Hi girls!

Awww ty ang, Youve got a big beautiful heart yourself.

I'll tell you...I think it is better to read Gooberz slowly, to try and soak it all in. It is so deep, such a powerful story that it really shouldnt be sped through. At least that's what I learned. I own the book and read it once. I could not put it down and finished it very quickly and I kind of wished I took a little more time out and didnt gobble it all up in practically one sitting. Although, I absorbed it very well and it was a magical journey for me, next time I will take my time and enjoy the scenery a little more.
Hopefully you have nice weather this weekend. I love reading outside too!

Hi PixieDust! Yes, it's a beautiful book! I'm long overdue for a re-read. What a cool Grandmother, to give you Star Signs!! Wow.

Well, I hope you both get some nice reading weather! Take care.
