And you know very well I enjoy a passionate debate. But this ain't one of them. This will degrade into nasty schoolyard taunting, just like all the others.

I can think of several people here who claim to be bringers of peace and love. Some people even agree with them. I don't. Why would I bother to point them out? What would that acomplish?

Ok. Valid enough point. I'm more than willing to concede that might be true. But valid for everyone else too? When Zala and pixelpixie run about righting wrongs, correcting mistakes and generally wiping dribble from the chins of cornflakes the world over, have they also fallen victim to a "different point of observation"? And how about yourself, my friend? Are those "seemingly smug and shnide ways" you see just another misconstrued viewpoint?

When Lotus comes barging into one of your threads, I imagine it's because she feels she must restore a bit of purity to the air.

I'm just having a hard time grasping your argument. And an even harder time with the idea that you and fayte and peajie and johnny are here to teach lotus a lesson or here to point out her mistakes to her.
To me .... that's smug.

Please, by all means, put my name all over your posts and imply I have all this pretention, but if something needs to be said, I will say it.
Where is the restraint for Lotus herself?
Do you admonish her for the things she does?
Is she just a misguided soul who can't take critisism? But you can call me out from a high place and judge as well?
Pardon me for having balls and enough of a thorn in my side for judgements that I don't just let omeone rant at others for the sake of peace.
That's no kind of peace.
It is invasive and frankly, rude. I find her tasteless and quite annoying at this point, attacking everyone and leaving rants everywhere.

And Tink, I don’t believe I have the power to “right any wrongs” -- and what may be right for me may be wrong for you and I don’t believe my view should prevail over yours. I may be tempted to correct a lot of spelling mistakes and grammar, but I don’t feel like I’m on a mission to WAKE UP everyone here so that they SEE according to my vision, and I don’t pervade every forum and nearly every string here like smog. I don’t like it when I see other people threatened and profanities flung at them, and why would expressing that distaste be “invalid” or somehow inappropriate? Must I restrain myself when others fail to do so? Is that the Moral High Ground? I don't mind mud-wrestling! And why would having a “different point of observation” be construed as having “fallen victim” to it??

And isn’t this a forum where we are free to express our opinions, including our opinions of each others’ opinions?? I can’t change anyone but myself Tink, but I can offer AN example of Being, not THE example. And I do not repeatedly tell people they are Lost, are “Pure Evil”, or don’t know what Love is. But that, of course, is judgment from Mother and Father, is it not??

"the games" I made reference too are on many more threads than this one. Also, you are not the only one on this thread. I've no doubt you find the constant bickering tiresome. I can hear the frustration and weariness in your posts.

The threatening remark wasn't inspired by anything in this thread. It was something you said a while back to MG about me. It was a little warning. (Which also hurt a bit btw but no matter) Possibly you remember? I hope so as I'd rather not repeat it.

Do I admonish her? I've disagreed with Lotus many times before ... and said so. MG too for that matter. I'm not a particular fan of either one of them and they know it.

I'm not in an admonishing mood and I'm sorry if I've come off that way. I'm in a confused mood. Like I tried to say to Magus, I can't grasp what the problem really is between these two warring camps.

Of course, I don't like to see people threatened and profanities flung around willy-nilly either. I recently told Magus off for doing just that. I can't remember his excuse. It was a funny one though. Petron (I think Petron's part of my pack but I'm not sure. I'll ask him) recently did the same to both MG and Magus. He didn't get very far either though. Speaking up when you see something you think is off isn't a sin. But people do take offense to it. I've been on both sides of the fence. I've spoken up about things here and been told to sit down and shut up. We all get defensive.

My apologies for mentioning you in the cornflake thing. You and pixe had the misfortune of writing the last two posts I read.

I'm in no position to defend lotus, zala. Honestly she really doesn't bother me one way or the other. I'm just waiting for the nonsense to hurry up and play itself out.
