I saw an angel, it was one time I think I was 11 and I was altar-serving in church for a vow-renewal. I was holding the cross becuase I was getting ready to walk down the isle but I was still outside in the hall with a crowd of people. Then I saw this man walk into the hall and just leave the church. It was surprising becuase I was telling myself that nobody was noticing this man leave. Since it was in the middle of everything, they didn't even look to see who it was. -I swear before he left he turned to look at me and smiled and then I had the feeling he knew, that I was really the only one noticing him. I just had that feeling!-Well after the church service was over I went to the reception becuase my family was invited. After an hour or two, people started dancing. Then there was a man who literally collapsed as he was dancing and he never recovered. The party was over and everyone went home. A week later the man died! -And to this day I still believe the man I saw, was really an angel who came to look and visit.

I think my guardian angel works overtime. She has kept me from having several car accidents (that were other people's fault). She even gave me a vision of a potential car accident so I could tell the person driving to back off from the truck in front of us. Next thing you know, that truck stopped suddenly and had been as close as were...I hate to think what might have happened. My angel also stands ready with a new job for me when I really need it. Twice now at previous jobs when I could take no more I had job offers within a couple of days. My angel is also there for me when I need comfort. She prods me to get help when I need it. I don't know what I would do without her. IP: Logged |

I had a visit from an angel earlier this year....I was in deep shock after our house set on fire....bloody miracle we only lost a third of it...Anyway I was calm going thro it and then I hit rock bottom a few days later.......I got a visit from an angel....she is now one of my best friends....she could just look at me and "feel" that I was broken..... She restored my faith in human kind...I will never forget what she did to me.....I love her IP: Logged |

Thanks for bringing this post up naiad. I've had a few experiences that might fit Randall's description. 1. Once I was in an accident where a bicyclist bumped into the back of my car. She took a serious fall and laid on the road semi-concious. Upon returning from calling for help (before mobile phones), a group of people had surrounded her. I stood worried and intently watching her. Someone who I never turned around to look at, (and I have no idea why not) started to rub my arms and shoulders, to comfort me, until an ambulance came. I think of that person as my angel at the time. 2. I was waiting at a bus stop for 20 minutes or so on a day when the temp was well below freezing. I'd recently moved to this new city and was feeling ok, but not great about life. A woman wearing purple walked by and addressed me by another name. I looked at her quesioningly. She retracted "Sorry I thought you were someone I once knew, and by the way she was beautiful." I will always remember that line because it was so unexpectedly kind and felt like it had a deeper meaning behind it. I will always notice the color purple because of her, I like to believe its a divine voice trying to tell me something. IP: Logged |

I this postI have fainted several times in my life. But he never lets me fall ! But two incidents really stand out in my memory. Both happened at very difficult times in my life. One time i was seriously hurt. I was getting off the bus, and i slipped and fell. my back hit the bus steps. I didn't realize how badly I was hurt and got up immediately. The bus drove on. As i was trying to cross the road, i blacked out. 2 workers, both ladies, saw me stumble. and they caught me before I fell. they helped me and took me to the place I was staying (it was a hostel)...i kept blacking out at every 2 steps. So many people helped me that day, all complete strangers, they were like 's to me. The second time, I wasn't even hurt phyisically. Just going through a very difficult time, and had not been eating properly for days. I was going with some friends to some place, again by bus. It was a very hot day (and in India, buses don't have AC) There was no place to sit, so i was standing. and i just knew i was going to black out. so as not to make a scene, i told my friends tht i wasnt feeling well and wud like to go back. but i blacked out as soon as i got off the bus. Once again, an angel caught me. Like you artlovesdawn, i never even saw her face. (But i do know she was a person ). She held me like a mother holds her baby. I will never forget her kindness. I cudn't even thank her. I feel protected and loved ILWL IP: Logged |

not sure if this counts or not, but when I was younger I had an accident that left me with chronic back pain. my mother was desperate to find me treatment (NHS was rubbish as usual) and heard about a very good osteopath who was willing to treat me, despite my age (about 8 at this time). The only problem was the money - my mum had recently had to go back to work (due to rises in interest rates and increased mortgage payments we would have lost our home) and there was no spare cash ANYWHERE. My mum worried but BELIEVED. And the money came - I can't remember where from or how. It just did, some repayment or something. Our angel didn't have a body as such but it was there! IP: Logged |

I have found that I'm shown things..usually just once, darn it, just to know that these things truly exist. For instance, like the time I was picking up litter around a big old tree and when I turned to go, heard it say thank you in a deep voice. Since then, I have heard no more trees talking, even though I wish I would. I was in yoga class and we were doing 'fish', where you are on your back and your chest lifts off the floor and then your head tips back and touchs the floor. I was working very intently to get into the position and all of a sudden it felt like a string was on my chest, lifting me up into the pose. I opened my eyes to see what was going on. I thought maybe the instructor had come by to help me. There was a big white angel above me with a smile. I am still awed when I think of it. IP: Logged |

Hi, I am so greatful to have found the ultimate website to help me figure out a life that makes no sense. I too believe in ANGLEs, and believe to have had Many encounters with them. Well at least more than one. The most profound was when I was in ultimate prayer to God, and in ultimate awarness that there are spirits around us, and that Things do move. A necklace materialized in my open palm in the middle of a room while I was all alone. Very crazy. But I won't go into all of my craziness. ANGLEs are wonderful, and I can't wait to KNOW mine. I was in boarding school in class 1 for one year...and I was lonely and sad and missed home and my parents a lot. One night I was wrapped up in my bedclothes with only my forehead out...and sobbing like my heart would break. I felt a hand upon my forehead...a soothing, comforting, loving hand... I was too scared to look out and see... but I felt it till i fell asleep. I do not know how 'real' or 'imagined' that sensation was... I dont know if it was an angel or my own self...coz later in life...i have gone back to that time and comforted my little self... but it remains one of my most vivid memories...
