Hi,Has anyone tried Linda's weight loss strategy that she gives in the forgotten rainbows chapter? I'm thinking of trying that and wanted to know if it has worked for anyone. IP: Logged |

I tried to gain weight using all kinds of blue. Blue this, blue that. I followed the advice 80% of the way, which is pretty good considering that the instructions were very complex and demanding. It did not work at all at the time. However, it was not all for loss. A year later I stopped being anorexic and started eating more, at which point I gained weight and my body shape evened out. So it was not all that hocus pocus with the blue lamps that changed me, but just eating more. Blue should not be pointed at the navel anyway, because it corresponds to the throat, and there is something about lying naked under a colored lamp that just walks straight over my tolerance line. I think when it comes to managing weight, you have to look at your mind as a factor, exploring avenues like hypnosis in preference to dietary deconstruction. Personally I would not recommend color dieting for anyone, because it is too complicated to follow.IP: Logged |

Mercury I am glad you found balance- and no- it doesn't sound fun being naked under the lamp! I have given up many negative vices in my life and thought my self-destructive days were over! Well, no, now I have had a few problems with the eating department- I tend to go the opposite of you though- and go way overboard! And not throwing it up is another lesson. I am a mere child in life school Well- red lights- I better turn on those chili pepper lights I have up but never turn on!! ------------------ Food is the only art that nourishes! IP: Logged |

I have tried it. I stayed on the diet for 3 weeks. I stopped because the red light made my blood pressure rise considerably and I was constantly hot and uncomfortable. This could have been an indication that it was working. I stopped before i saw any results.IP: Logged |

Hello Yes I tried the red to lose weight and it worked although it would have been alot faster if I had lived in the States. I live in New Zealand and it was impossible to find the right type lightbulbs. I had to paint one using a type of car engine paint! I got to the last couple of days and bought a chocolate bar and enjoyed it, I missed coffee and eating green vegies although I loved the buttery popcorn. IP: Logged |

Since reading this theory in "Star Signs" I thought it was awesome. It sounds so plausible - "just rebalance your aura", however very hard to explain to people. I would absolutely love for my mum to do it, but she's very sceptical, plus it would be a lot of work and discipline. My personal view though, is that it only time! Afterwards you can go crazy. If you have a serious problem, or just want to feel good about yourself again, then I say try it. What's there to lose... but so much to gain!------------------ Love and Light to aLL My numerology program according to "Star Signs" by LG. IP: Logged |

I did it religiously for the 45 days, I lost 15 lbs. But I couldnt keep it off... I gained like 25 lbs after that. So I got on the atkins diet instead, a lot of restrictions. But its worked so far..IP: Logged |

the atkins diet will definately work towards losing weight- but it can be very dangerous!!! the diet can be VERY bad for your heart and your bowels. diet is a matter of balance and finding what your own body needs to function properly- and this will be a unique conbination of food for each person. if your body has difficulty with carbs i recommend cutting out processed sugar and white flour products, but try to take in whole grains like brown rice and multi-grain bread when you can. by cutting out carbs altogether you may lose weight initially, but if you ever go back to eating carbs, you will gain the weight back pretty quickly good luck!
