Hi!
I was watching "Jane Eyre" the original BW movie. I have read the book as well. It is about "Twin S-Elves". I love The Moody Blues, "Your Wildest Dreams" also about Twin S-Elves...I would love to here some of your fav. movies and songs about Twin-S-Elves. I believe that Linda was very accurate in believing that much of the wars and atrocities that we are perpetually plagued with, would not exist, if we had our twin-S-Elves at our side.

Hi Charlotte,
One of my favorite movies having to do with soulmates is What Dreams May Come. Robin Williams is in it. Have you seen it? It's kind of a tear jerker, and this is coming from someone who never cries at movies.

For music I love Bob Dylan and Joni Mitchelle. Both write the most beautiful poetry. He has some of the most beautiful romantic lyrics ever. (not the greatest voice, but I love his voice, alot of people can't stand it)

The list could go on and on with songs about soulmates that I love by him, but heres one of his songs from hisfabulous Blood on the Tracks album.

part of Simple Twist of Fate lyrics:

People tell me it's a sin
To know and feel too much within
I still believe she was my twin but I lost the ring
She was born in spring but I was born too late
Blame it on a simple twist of fate.

26Taurus.... Good stuff! Yes! I LOVE that movie. The imagery, concepts, feelings, bright side of bright, dark side of dark. It even brought feelings of deja vu, if that makes sense. Went out and bought it immediately, and I HAD to see it in the theatre. Also Love Joni Mitchell. She's what I sing most in the shower.

"Dead Again" with Kenneth Branagh, Emma Thompson, and, yes, Robin Williams has a cameo. Have you ever wondered about certain actors and actresses? How certain people tend to gravitate toward roles dealing with metaphysical and spiritual subjects? Robin Williams is one I have also wondered about. I would love to sit down and talk with him about it.

As for songs - "Dancing Barefoot" by Patti Smith, though I'm more fond of U2's cover of the song.

Cooooooooolllll pixel.
Yeah, I saw the movie in the theater and again a few times at home too. The visual imagery is amazing.
And so cool that you listen to Joni. Words can't describe the soul in her songs. Do you have her album "Don Juan's Reckless Daughter"? It's fab! I love Court and Spark too.

Heya! What I have of Joni Mitchell is mostly complilations.. best of, other stuff... although court and spark strikes a chord. Plus what I have generally heard on the radio..... I love her 'River' song.. I sing that one with much frequency.
It's comin' on christmas, they're cuitin' down trees, they're puttin' up reindeer, and singin' songs of joy and peace, I wish I had a river, I could skate away on........
Chelsea Mrning, You turn me on, I'm a radio, of course, BIg Yellow Taxi, others I klnow but don't know the titles.. the one about ' Carol we're middle classed , we're middle aged, blah blah, she talks about the daughter she gave up for adoption....
I came upon a child of God, he was walking along the road, and I asked him, where are you going, and this he told me.. I'm going' on down to Yasger's Farm, I'm gonna' join in a rock n' roll band, I 'm gonna' camp out on the land, I'm gonna' try an' get my soul free, we are stardust,... we are golden, and we've got to get ourselves, back to the garden.........

I you Pixel !

I was singin' right along to your post!

I just put in one of her CD's. Now I'm sittin' here grooving and a postin'.

Maybe I’ll go to amsterdam
Or maybe I’ll go to rome
And rent me a grand piano and put some flowers ’round my room
But let’s not talk about fare-thee-welis now
The night is a starry dome.
And they’re playin’ that scratchy rock and roll
Beneath the matalla moon

Come on, carey, get out your cane
And I’ll put on some silver
You’re a mean old daddy, but I like you
____________________________________________

I cleared myself
I sacrificed my blues
And you could complete me
I’d complete you

His eyes were the color of the sand
And the sea
And the more he talked to me
The more he reached me
But I couldn’t let go of l.a.
City of the fallen angels
____________________________________________
Help me
I think I’m falling
In love again
When I get that crazy feeling, I know
I’m in trouble again
I’m in trouble
’cause you’re a rambler and a gambler
And a sweet-taiking-ladies man
And you love your lovin’
But not like you love your freedom

Help me
I think I’m falling
In love too fast
It’s got me hoping for the future
And worrying about the past
’cause I’ve seen some hot hot blazes
Come down to smoke and ash
We love our lovin’
But not like we love our freedom

Didn’t it feel good
We were sitting there talking
Or lying there not talking
Didn’t it feel good
You dance with the lady
With the hole in her stocking
Didn’t it feel good
Didn’t it feel good

Help me
I think I’m falling
In love with you
Are you going to let me go there by myself
That’s such a lonely thing to do
Both of us flirting around
Flirting and flirting
Hurting too
We love our lovin’
But not like we love our freedom

Okay I'm gettin' a little carried away now.

OOh oh oh !! Guess what just came on!

Woke up, it was a chelsea morning, and the first thing that I heard
Was a song outside my window, and the traffic wrote the words
It came a-reeling up like christmas bells, and rapping up like pipes and drums

Oh, won’t you stay
We’ll put on the day
And we’ll wear it ’till the night comes

Woke up, it was a chelsea morning, and the first thing that I saw
Was the sun through yellow curtains, and a rainbow on the wall
Blue, red, green and gold to welcome you, crimson crystal beads to beckon

Oh, won’t you stay
We’ll put on the day
There’s a sun show every second
