I'm really more of a reader, but I do write. I hate keeping journals though. I'll keep them for a week at most, and then I usually dump it in a drawer somewhere. It feels too much like an obligation, and I don't want to feel like I'm being forced to do something that I love. If I get the spark to write, I usually spend hours in one stream of consciousness. That's the only way I can, really. I used to write a lot of poetry. One poem I wrote in the eigth grade won second plane in a literary fair out of 350 people, heh. They gave me a cardboard star with a ribbon on it . I'll see if I can find it sometime.IP: Logged |

How about drawing? I mean i used to get lazy about drawing details and just have lots of unfinished drawings. But then can we do the same through drawing? I just feel like experessing beautiful things on paper and leaving this msg in the drawing for everyone to see. IS there a thread about creative drawing?? hehe.. IP: Logged |

"A visionary is one who can find his way by moonlight, and see the dawn before the rest of the world." -- Oscar Wilde"You can do anything you wish to do, have anything you wish to have, be anything you wish to be." -- Robert Collier "If you don't have a vision, then your reality will always be determined by other's perceptions." -- Melanee Addison "Achievers can almost literally taste success because they imagine their goals in such vivid detail. Setbacks only seem to add spice and favor to the final taste of victory." -- Denis Waitley IP: Logged |

Thank you Wednesday for re-activating this old thread. I would have never seen it and I love the message it sends.I have always loved to write--my gosh the blogs on myspace...well! I am also writing a book about the deep, profound spiritual encounters I have with some of my patients (am a RN.) Anybody else have any comments on writing and spirituality? IP: Logged |
