I'm really more of a reader, but I do write. I hate keeping journals though. I'll keep them for a week at most, and then I usually dump it in a drawer somewhere. It feels too much like an obligation, and I don't want to feel like I'm being forced to do something that I love. If I get the spark to write, I usually spend hours in one stream of consciousness. That's the only way I can, really. I used to write a lot of poetry. One poem I wrote in the eigth grade won second plane in a literary fair out of 350 people, heh. They gave me a cardboard star with a ribbon on it . I'll see if I can find it sometime.

How about drawing? I mean i used to get lazy about drawing details and just have lots of unfinished drawings. But then can we do the same through drawing? I just feel like experessing beautiful things on paper and leaving this msg in the drawing for everyone to see. IS there a thread about creative drawing?? hehe..

Thank you Wednesday for re-activating this old thread. I would have never seen it and I love the message it sends.

I have always loved to write--my gosh the blogs on myspace...well!

I am also writing a book about the deep, profound spiritual encounters I have with some of my patients (am a RN.)

Anybody else have any comments on writing and spirituality?
