I look into the planets for this type of information.
Maybe you should too?

My partner has a cluster of planets in one house indicating a strong sense of mission. And his saturn is no-where near this cluster, and I think it actually meant he saved me.

Randall has touched on it briefly, and it makes absolute sense, and I have found it very helpful.

What thread is that from? I'm just wondering... I have an empty 12th house, and sun, mercury, mars, (11th Aqua) venus (10th Cappy) neptune (9th Sag), uranus (8th Scorpio) clustered in one hemisphere... weird, that. I have been joked with by friends and family that I seem to 'save' people... every relationship I have had has had some kind of positive effect on the other person after it is over.. like I helped them to see something in themselves, therefore go out into the world with a more positve attitude, and usually a bit more luck and confidence. I'm not trying to toot my own horn at all (when I get down on myself, I often feel 'cursed' in a way... but I digress..) it's just odd that those things Randall mentioned are prevelant in my chart.

BTW Philbird, the chart you posted has just changed. It now says you are a Sag Sun. I looked at and said, "I thought she had a Moon/Saturn conjunction in the 5th house". According to my records (if they are correct) you do. Here's a link to the chart I have for you if you'd like to print it out: *edit

Like Randall said, there isnt a sure fire way to detect immortality in the natal chart. But there ARE indicators that can hint to that.

An astrologer will look to the 4th (end/latter part of life matters), 8th and 12th houses to see the circumstances and conditions surrounding the death (or "non-death") of an individual (among some other things). Also, there is NO way to predict death in a chart. Anyone doing death predictions should not be taken too seriously.

I've always known I'd live a long life and my chart indicates this as well. With a 4th house Sun trine an 8th house Moon conj. NN and an empty 12th house. Also Pluto, planet of birth, death, transformation, regeneration, etc. is right up there with the moon and NN in the 8th, the house naturally ruled by Scorpio.

Oddly, I was looking over some old notes I had taken from a psychic reading I got two years ago and I had written down twice that she said I would "live a very long life" and "Stop worrying about things and stay positive, you will have a very long and happy life." Interesting.

Also I would say pay attention to the condition of your Nodes when looking for indications of this nature.

Dont think that if you dont have these certain indicators that you cant be physically immortal. Obviously, it all comes down to a choice you make. Your chart is not your destiny.

Linda speaks in Star Signs, in the chapter on 4's and 8's about 4's in particular being here as using this particular birth channel to "rescue" a Twin Self who has become - or is in danger of becoming - a fallen angel. I'm not sure about the numbers 11 or 30 - dont know enough about 30=3. But I know that 11 is an important Master number that doesnt get reduced.

It's really not a matter of having empty houses. It's more like you have a concentration of energy in certain other areas. Almost everyone has at least one empty house. Usually two or more.

And really a house is ever empty. You always have a sign on the cusp of each house. And these are actually quite important and their effects are felt strongly - they color each house. Each of the signs on the cusp has a ruling planet that is found somewhere in your chart. And then there are the asteroids, fixed stars, etc. When you start adding those into the chart, you probably wont have as many empty houses as it seems.

It's kind of alot to get specifically into here. But once you know the basic meanings of the houses and planets you can put it together pretty easily.

There are two ways people deal with their empty houses. They either ignore the energies of that house or they are very aware of the lack and spend alot of time trying to deal with it or overcompensate for it. Spending alot of time trying to integrate the missing houses energies into their lives. Some feel and deal with the empty house energies more than others. On the other hand you can look at it like the empty houses are things that you dont need to concentrate on as much in this life. You've been there done that (although you are ever really "done" anything) and you dont have as many lessons in that area. Your planets are concentrated in other areas and those are the areas you need to focus on more in this lifetime.
