I came to this sight looking for information. WHAT I have found seems that we are not here for all the same reasons. Would Linda be proud of our conversations. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

This rings so true for me as just a few minutes ago I finished writing a loooong letter to another knowflake that has sooo much passion and all she wanted to do is to help people here, trying to talk her into reconsidering her stance. I pop into LL and see yet another instance where crap is flying...wtf? gawd.....Yeppers, I think Linda would hope that those people who are here in honor of her teachings could rise about the crap that has been flying around here lately. Don't get me wrong, healthy debates are well, healthy? lol Opinions, well, we each have 'em, whose to say who is right or who is wrong, honor others beliefs....but the name calling, etc., nah, that stuff has gotsta go, also people need to learn when to stop beating a dead horse, ain't nuttin gonna happen, when its dead, its dead, leave it alone. I am firmly entrenched in this.I don't feel I should have to justify, it feels silly, because often the ones passing judgement only see transgressions in a peripheral way, and don't know the full scope.
I wrote elsewhere that I am both ballsy and sensitive.
Therefore, if stuff is happening, I will 'go there' but most likely will get hurt in the process.. but I will still continue to go there.
Sometimes the only way to overcome negativity is to face it, talk to it and come around to the other side.
I will continue to do this, if it needs doing. I think in general, the people who are here and have been here a while, see the cycles.
There are great great people here, and to focus on the BS is limited.
Move on to the spiritual conversations, they are far more prevalent than the ones you seemed to focus on. Do realize please that you are here during a tumultuous time, and it is not always like that.
And kindly refrain from passing judgement until you know the story.

I just wanted to add that nobodby with half a heart and a decent sized ego would approve of people swearing and being unkind to each other would they............if that is what Lotus is referring to. Sue, my kind kindred... that was the whole point behind this madness.
The person was referring to random posters in a personal insulting way, and she was banned repeatedly only to come back and do the same thing again.
I tried to handle the matter tactfuly, but it has happened so much!
Only the last time, when she postted under someone's old name to start lies did I get a little angry.. and engaged in a 'bite me'.
*which lotusheartone saw over in the Oober forum.I won't let the repeat offender keep doing it. I am vocal, and then somehow this defense is translated by some to mean I am picking fights and fighting. At least I know inside what it really is, even if people I respect somehow don't see it that way. IP: Logged |

I am so sensitive to the 'fighting' comments, Because I know my name and comments are on every one of them... that I feel I have to justify and am being judged. I have to qualify everything.
Maybe I need to break for a bit.. I have abusy weekend anyway....
Thanks for the nice comments. Seriously.. because I felt the negative ones were directed at me, and it makes me sad.
I felt like.. If it weren't for the good people here,(like you) I wouldn't care.. I wouldn't feel obligated to protect what I love like some threatened mother hyena on steroids... and then the good people see me defending and think.. Geez, what's her damage... you know?
Perspective... so really, I needed to hear what you both wrote.

Pixie, I don't think that you need to keep apologizing ~ I don't think that you did anything wrong in the first place, or am I missing something?
I think a lot of people have just stayed out of it because there were requests for it all to stop ~ I know I wrote something and then changed my mind about posting, thinking, "do they really need me to jump in here and say something?" It had already been covered adequately by several people, and I didn't want to possibly make any situation worse.

Look after yourself Pixie girl, I understand you, I am beginning to wonder about the mentality of some of our sisters here, I just read a thread where Archer objected to the way he was spoken to regarding another matter. He got laughed at cos he said he was leaving............where is the understanding and sensitivity in some people, did they not develop it. Funny tho cos they are normally the ones that crave support deep down when they are in trouble............maybe I AM in the wrong place. Anyway darling, keep the faith, love and hugs from Ireland

I think it's better for people to discuss it and get it worked out than to hold it in until it really blows out of purportion.
