Who here has ever seen a UFO? Or anything related? Bigfoot? And so forth...........
Did your sighting(s) show up in the news with other people seeing the same thing(s)?

Years ago, I was probably around 14, I was out on a walk at night with my mother. As she was chatting away, I was looking up at the sky and suddenly saw something that looked like just another star, move VERY quickly, over a huge span of the sky. It moved in like a number 2 shape and then darted off and dissappeared!! I was in shock and thought for a moment that I might have imagined it, but was sure I just saw what I did. I didnt mention anything to my mother at that time. The next morning, I woke up to my alarm clock radio, and on the local station, they were reporting that people were calling in all night saying they were seeing strange activity in the sky!! And described similar things to what I saw. I guess people were calling the police station too. So, I excitedly ran into my mom's room and told her what happened. She said she wished I had interruped her and told her to look up, but it happened so fast she wouldnt have seen it anyway. That was the best sighting I've had, though I've had a few others like it. My brother has, along with our freind of the famly at the same time. I should get him , and ask him to type out what he recalls. - In short the flying object was large, bright, and hovering not even 50 feet off the ground rite infront of their car when they turned the neighboorhood corner.. It sat there for almost a minuit, and very very very quickly jeted off into the night sky, and outa view. Another freind of mine says he used to see all kinds of UFO activity over the town of Pleasant Valley in our county when he was a teenager.. Funny thing was as he was telling me, the neighborrhoods he was describing his sighting over, where the same general vacinity that my brother and freind saw their sighting. Over the years Ive had others I dont knwo as well say the same things about the night skys around the same town. When Ive asked them about what years they recall this happening around- they all give a description of the same 5 year period around when my brother saw his. IP: Logged |

I have about three yrs ago. In Anchorage, AK. I was with a group of friend, aprox 6 of us. We were sitting outside in my friends back yard, which backs to a gravel pit. We named the place "Angie's cliff" cause i was the first to fall off the cliff drunk. Anywho, we all sat out there drinking and a friend spotted it in the sky, making jerky turns - when he loudly exclaimed "A UFO" we were all laughing and saying stuff like yeah right. He's like NO I'm dead serious, look. He began to point out the area in the sky where it was hovering. So all of us began looking in that area and sure enough it started its stange turns and movement thru the sky. We knew right then and there that it was a UFO since satelitles typically move in a straight line across the sky and planes cant make those sorta turns. Its was a bright light almost seeming redish at times (not constant), much brighter than your average star or planet seen from earth. The turns it was making were so drastic, very sharp diagonal turns and moving very quickly. It did sort of a pattern in the sky, very quickly and like that was gone. All of us were so excited. My friend called up his father who went and got his telescope and drove up to the gravel pit where he sat for a few hours waiting for its return. Needless to say he never got a chance to see it. But when we got home and told his dad the story - he wasnt amazed at all. He then began to tell us many stories of his sightings. Even time of seeing aliens in Seattle years ago. I think i had this talk with Sun Child some time back on a thread around here. She was talking about how she was excited to go on a camping trip and spot a UFO - i believe that was her, if not oops! forgot who then. IP: Logged |

Yes kinda... My friend is a Alien but I dont know where is ship is, crashed about 8 years ago... he's kinda stuck with me now in his spirit form the silly bugger!!Hmm I like his homeworld though, we gotta go visit it sometime... somehow yay! ... oh well, time for medication  Btw he said hello everyong!! **Alien Wave**

Alas, have not been fortuante enough to have seen one yet. This may sound crazy, but I've always felt drawn to the Universe. I feel as if my "soul" has incaranted from the ancient visitors to our planet long ago. I often feel that I don't belong here, and I dream of space and feel homesick upon rasing my eyes to the heavens or watching/reading a space theme movie or book. IP: Logged |

The object was hovering and moving slowly toward the field. I was nine years old at the time, We lived in a rural area outside of Rolla, Missouri. There was this older gentleman and his wife that lived across the street from us. He had just purchased a new Kodak One Step Camera for a trip that he and his wife were going to take, and asked some of us kids that were playing nearby at the time if he could take our pictures, he wanted to try out the camera. We were standing in his driveway waiting for the first picture to develop when this huge shadow blocked out the sunlight. I looked up and saw this object, it wasn't emitting any sound what so ever, it was like one of the smaller ones in close encounters, with lights spinning all around it. This took place "before" I saw the movie. I still do not understand how I could see the lights so brightly, in daylight! The older gentleman, my eleven year old brother, myself, two twin boy's that were around 7 if I recall correctly and one other 10 year old girl all took off in the direction that the object headed. It wasn't going fast at all, kind of hovering and slowly moving off toward a fenced field that we picked blackberries in. We went as far as the bob wire fence and then stopped. The object just hovered in the middle of the field, about 3 stories above the ground. The older man snapped a shot of it, and my older brother wanted to climb over the fence and get closer, I stopped him. I don't remember feeling afraid, I wasn't even shocked, I just didn't want him going any closer. I was only nine, If I saw one now I would probably freak out! We all crowded in as the picture was developing, it turned out pure "white" Like when you try to take a photo of something too bright. Now this is all that I can remember happening, we were looking at the photo and then our backs were turned away from the field and we were heading home, the sun was going down. My brother and I went home and told our mom what had happened, my oldest brother placed a call to the radio station and asked if anyone else had reported seeing anything... he was told,"It must have been a weather balloon" We never talked about that evening with the older man across the street, the other children and even my brother and myself didn't discuss it until years later. He can't remember anything after looking at the photo either. To my knowledge, that is the only incident in my life of witnessing a UFO.

My family and I were vacationing on lake Superior about 10 years ago. We were sitting by the fire by the lake, making smores. It was about 9-10 pm.The sky was cloudy. Suddenly the clouds sterted moving in strangest pattern, like someone was wiping them with squidgy(SP?)or opening the roof on a convertable. And within minutes the whole sky was clear, full of stars. Suddenly one of the "stars" started moving in a strange way -zig-zag. (Just like 26taurus said)It moved for awile and then froze becoming part of the starry sky. We waited for a long time but it didn't move. I don't know if something was reported, we didn't listen to the radio or TV.------------------

Planet_soul,I long for space travel and never felt I belong on this planet too, but I don't think I'm anything but human. I have no desire to encounter UFOs, and am very wary that intelligent ET life has ever visited this planet (not saying it's not out there - just hasn't been around here). I just feel very crowded here on earth and left out of human society, and I have not been particuarly trreated well by most other humans, so I wish there was someplace else I could go. I just chalk it up to the prominence of Mercury, Uranus and Neptune in my chart. IP: Logged |

I have never seen a UFO before but my mom's best male friend swears he was abducted by aliens when he was 22. He is almost fifty now & is very serious about things. He has never told anyone other than my mom since they have been good friends for about 25 years. Everytime he tells it I hear the same exact story...
He was in a fishing boat in the middle of a lake in some other state, I'm not sure which. It was up north, though. He said it was pretty early in the morning and he saw a quick flash and bright lights. The next thing he knew he was lying down and he saw beings that resembled humans except larger eyes and they just looked a little different. He fell back to a sleep/trance and then when he woke up again he was back on the little fishing boat, only he had a very strange feeling and he knew it hadn't been a dream because it was too realistic (if that's the correct word).
You have to really hear him telling the story to fully believe. I wouldn't post it on here if I didn't believe it was true.As for Big Foot and Nessie - They are not real. They are simply creatures made in peoples minds, aka Tulpas. Don't you think that by NOW either one would have been found? I mean seriously. Scientists have scanned Loch Ness using 200-and-something radars covering the entire lake with no sign of a 'monster'. And as for bigfoot/sasquatch, it would have been discovered if it existed, especially considering the fact that the legend of bigfoot has been around for centuries, so that would mean that there would have to be at least TWO of them. There has also never been any kind of proof these things exist, and the only kind of footage has been proved a hoax or cannot be determined. It's amazing what the human mind can create... YA I HAVE SEEN A UFO!there's a festival in india called "rakshabandhan" which celebrates the love tween brother ans sister , on that day many kites are also flown.
My neighborhood friend and i were flying a kyte too . He spoted something in the sky.. the way he asked me to immediately look in that direction tol me he had seen something special .. when i looked p there .. EXACTLY in the shape in which it is described by many people ..including those mexicans who cliam seeing it uncontable no. of times etc. (disc shaped). It sped off very very fast and travelling some distance disappeared behind the clouds .
its velocity was very high i mean i saw it for about 1 - 2 secs.
THERE WAS NO DOuBT IN MINE OR MI FRENS MIND. IP: Logged |

lucky people, i wish i had seen one...lolbtw, seattle and anchorage, ak are great places to live. i was born in achorage and lived in seattle for about 5 years, angel_of_hope.
