Ponder this one if you will, I would like some thoughts on it. If I did ( what I thought was a good deed) helped someone financially but realized that it got in the way of their fate which was postponed. In other words I interferred with their negative fate and destiny. What does this do for my Karma? Is the financial help the only thing that matters here? Does my interferrence in their destiny come back to me? IP: Logged |

I sincerely believe you will not be faulted for kindness. Perhaps it wasn't truly their fate at least not yet. Perhaps you were fated to be there to offer help as an example of how the universe takes care of us even when we don't think it will in which case you offered not only money, but also hope. I don't believe that anything WE do with good intentions (it's all about intentions) will ever bring us bad karma. Perhaps it was your karma (or theirs) for you to be a part of their fate...I have a feeling it was their karma that brought about the delay...IP: Logged |

Sometimes even with the best intentions bad things happen, If you truly feel like you have done something that will induce "bad karma", then maybe you did? IP: Logged |

This is a family member. I think what my motive was, was to avoid all the agony that my brother is going to have to go thru now. I think he is going to lose his house and my mother lives there with him so its going to uproot her somthing fierce. Shes been there most of her life and isn't a big one for change. Its going to put a drag on all of us. Shortly after i got involved in this mess i realized that a downward spiral was taking place and I was slowing it down.I think is has something to do with her and his Karma. I could have let it happen then but I couldn't at that time. My brother and I do have bad Karma together and I don't want any more with him.IP: Logged |

Karma is as karma does. You felt the need, justified it, carried through. Is that not karma? it was necessary, it has happened, therefore, was supposed to.No one knows until later, but if you did it, it is done. Now it is part of history and a point of reference for the future. Let it go.

Well you did what you could have done best. When you are exhausted, ask God or Universe to take over and wish what you would like things to be. Be persistent.

I agree with AG here...not helping might have been a mistake. Sometimes inaction can be much worse than action.IP: Logged |

I believe alot of things are agreed upon at an unconscious level - mainly between HigherSelves. You did no harm and did not get in the way of this person's destiny, no matter how much you think that may be the case. There are no coincidences, chance meetings, or givings. It was meant to be.Just my opinion. Also, I dont believe in 'karma' as most do. Karma is self imposed. We do not need it. It is a choice we make, to stay stuck in the karmic wheel. But we dont realize..... thirteen, you may enjoy this ebook. I havent even read much of it yet, but what I did I liked. I've read alot of things along these lines and have come to find out that karma is not what we think it is and we can choose to break free of it. Enjoy! No Time For Karma Stepping off the Wheel of Pain and Struggle. http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum2/HTML/001524.html IP: Logged |

Talking of Karma, you must never desire fruits of the Karma. You must leave it to God. Its like when you give or donate, let your left hand not know what the right hand is doing. IP: Logged |

I also endorse this book 26 recommended. I have printed it and read it more than once. ------------------ No object is mysterious. The mystery is your eye. - Elizabeth Bowen IP: Logged |
