I am trying to be Vegetarian. But suppose I have a partner tomorrow who might be a Non-Vegetarian then how can I attain Physical Immortality.

If you don't want a partner that eats meat then don't be with one. It's truly that simple.

What would be implication if I have partner who is Non-Veg.
So even if I am Vegetarian, it won't be much use. Or I attain my own Karmas and Physical Immortality.

The desire for continuation has it's roots in the fear of ending.

Think about that.

Hello Beebuddy!!
I am very simple person, sometimes doesn't understand lot of meanings.
Are you conveying to me, that I desire to continue on the path(Veg and Physical Immortality) so I should not go for Non-Veg partner.
There is something to laugh, I was thinking that if I kiss somebody who just had Non-veg and then I would automatically have that too or I have to tell him to go for Mouth wash first. Please don't laugh!!

Svirgo,

Nobody can live forever. Impermanence is a reality.

Hi Bee
"The desire for continuation has it's roots in the fear of ending. "

(IMHO)
You wont achieve physical immortality if you fear the end.
It is possible to realize the end doesn't exist and is not a reality, so, how can you fear something that is not there?

Anyway...
sVirgo, I live with a meat eater...although at times he has gone off red meat.
He moves slowly, because he is a true Aussie grown up with chops and sausages..
But I am not too concerned with Karma....
Because we are still moving, he is still growing and evolving, I know he'll get there when he is ready.
And that's the whole point.
Because I see him trying, because I see him always wanting to improve his lifestyle, that is enough encouragement for me.
His intentions are what matters most.

We all move at different speeds in our spiritual evolution.
If you love someone, it will not matter.
He is far ahead of me in some aspects.
We both are very different, yet we are the same in many ways.

SunChild,

"Achieving" physical immortality is not possible. The physical world is a centerless field of awareness that death can't touch.

Nobody lives forever.....that is why we reincarnte lots of times isnt it.......well the body dies.....but the soul lives on.

If you are with a partner that eats eat maybe that is becos in your last life you were intolerant of something this soul did around animals and now you have met up again to work out the karms........maybe?

Just a thought!

Well...I don't believe in 'impossible' things...

I know many will disagree, but our physical body doesn't have to die...
Anyway...back to your original conversation...this subject is best discussed in O&H.
