First of all wtf is a rady? Do you consider yourself a serf?
Second of all.......don't act innocent. You follow sue around this forum like a dog. When I would argue with her you would get involved so you obviously put yourself into the business. Don't know why you're even asking why.
Good day all

Hi Dean, I think you are the best and I feel that you are still uncertain about the decisions that you have made in the past. Don't know why I get that vibe. I have been off LL for some time so not sure what exactly happened. But I too believe that the onus is a lot on moderators to maintain quality of web site. Its not in best interests of viewers to see threads not intended for the right forum. I think we all get influenced by our emotions and hence we do not discern well. A doctor in India is thought that, and are prepared mentally to be prepared to operate on their own loved ones when the time comes Also as visitors, sometimes the best minds forget manners and need to be reminded Regards, IAT

Hey, I've seen that before, but never made that connection Ra, that's pretty cool. One thing I love about Mandelbrot sets too are the sea horses and spirals. Amazing. Thanks 26t and IAT, I'm touched, Dean. IP: Logged |

Hi Dean (and other moddies). You have a tough job. Love and light to you for all of the work that you do on this forum. I was interested to read the supportive comments from the other moddies and wondered if you guys ever got together as a group, to discuss LL, as it seems that you moddies are kind of out on your own. I know at Aeclectic Tarot, for example, they have a special forum that only moddies have access to, where they can share and discuss any problems they are having with threads or posters. with love purple_scorp IP: Logged |

I am pretty sure they used to do that.. but took it away as a sign of solidarity with the rest of the lindalanders... and opened a new forum ( either the Heathcliffe's corner or Gaia's Garden ...)IP: Logged |

sesame ~I saw the fractal a few posts ago, and immediately forgot about the topic here..... .....but, I only just now recovered my breath after browsing this site: http://www.allisonart.com Could you possibly give me any suggestions about where to start in creating my own fractals?? Hope I don't have to be great at math! Thx 1,000,000, 'Zala IP: Logged |

PP, the way I see it, you guys could do with the support! It makes you less of a target for attack.AG, I don't think we should take anything away from LL, I think we should just add more sub-forums. I would also like to see a place where you can post topics for help on the forum itsElf, for example. with love purple_scorp IP: Logged |

Sorry I didn't reply to you Yin, but a book I HIGHLY recommend is "Chaos" by James Glieck. A great science author! Also for Zala - there are heaps of sites out there that should be able to help. Did you want to program? I wanna do that too some day, but I think there are fractal generators out there. Interesting site you posted. I've never seen 3D fractals Great idea Purple_scorp and thanks on behalf of the mods I've never really had problems (touchwood), and would probably email the mod account (@linda-goodman.com) if I did. re: a mods forum: That was done away with a bit ago.It was kinda a tertiary issue w/ a huge blow-up that happened here a while back. A bunch of other stuff happened (which I'm only partially privy to and don't have any room to comment on), and in the end a very disgruntled former member (who was sorta a catalyst for this particular controversy, but who I know otherwise and really is a good person) hacked into the mods forum and sent out less-than-flattering conversations that they had had about members. Good people left (because of that and other, semi-related disputes). It's a little bit of a sore spot. Randall then took that one out and added a few other forums to get to a good number.
