Ive had a very strong flashback now for quite a few years.....me in old Ireland....long black skirt, white frilled petticoat underneath it and black ankle boots...I am in a pub up on a table dancing me heart out, full of joy, full of irish devilment. My black boots dance in perfect synch with the fiddle.....happy happy jig, not a care in the world...... All the way through the dance there is a man, glass in hand, looking at me and shouting me on, taunting me a little, making me laugh......we are kindreds, as are the rest of the folk in the pub........such a lovely, warm memory.....  After having this flashback one day, I came out of it thinking, if only I could find them black boots....hahahahaha...... The next day I went into a shop, and there they were, sitting waiting for me.......of course......."we just got them in girl" said the shop lady. So you can imagine what happened the first time I wore them out to the pub.......hehe.......and no I didnt get thrown out of the place, but I did nearly break the table........LOL !!! Lovely memory.....I wonder if that young man is there in the pub, and I just havent recognised him yet....  Slane

Hmm...maybe he is. What a fun story, I think I would have had to buy them too If I were you I mean you certainly can't ignore them after such a memory ya gotta buy 'em! and Dance in ' em!------------------

I actually get a sense that it was the Libra guy I posted about a while ago, the one who I havent spoken to for almost a year...The reason I think this is, a couple of years back I was dancing and he was standing there with a glass in hand, and he shouted "she is good, she is good" and started laughing really loud.....and I thought 'OMG" that is HIM.......H E L P......!!! Luckily I managed to get out of that friendship relatively unscathed, although I must admitm the thought of meeting up with him makes me a tad nervous.....AND.....he has his moon in Scorpio.....mmmm... xx IP: Logged |
