So you mean that meditation should be the main focus in a 9 personal year?.That's cool.IP: Logged |

Nah, I meant more like if you have a bad year, maybe you could quite the inner voices with meditation. I don't meditate much any more, I get very tired, but I know that it's useful if you can do it.On the other hand, I like 9. It cleans the cob webs while allowing new directions to be taken - closing old and opening new paths. Not sure about the personal year meaning. As I've said before, I have only realy seen Chaldean Numerology as very truthful, all other systems I've looked at seem flawed. Granted, the Chaldean one can be very vague, but I think every line is accurate. Dean. IP: Logged |

Yes, I feel that was very accurate, artlovesdawn.Peace, As Linda wrote in "Star Signs": quote: The number 9 has the following meaning:The Number 9 Vibrates to: Mars Represents: Aggressive action, penetration, courage, and conflict 9 is the number of originality and initiative... also the contradictory traits of vulnerability and naivete. When the Sun Sign is: ARIES: This vibration intensifies the Sun Sign personality traits. LIBRA: This vibration sometimes opposes the Sun Sign motives, but, with effort, can be used to balance the Sun Sign nature. GEMINI, LEO, SAGITTARIUS, AQUARIUS: This vibration harmonizes well with the Sun Sign character, motives, and personality traits. TAURUS, CANCER, VIRGO, SCORPIO, CAPRICORN, PISCES: This vibration is in sharp contrast with the basic Sun Sign instincts. When it surfaces on occasion in the personality, the behaviour is so unusual, relative to the person's or entities normal or natural Sun Sign attitudes, it startles others, and often surprises themselves as well. __________________________________________________________________ The Meaning of the 9 Vibration __________________________________________________________________ People or entities with the number 9 are not stubborn, but are determined to get what they want, and there is a difference. Stubbornness reacts and determination initiates. 9 brings a tendency to be impulsive and make snap decisions, later regretted. Although the temper will flare rather frequently, these people are quick to both forgive and forget an injury. They're vulnerable to their enemies because their first instinct is to trust everyone. Since they're so direct themselves, they expect other to be the same - and others often are not. As a general rule, they're incapable of such behaviour and motives themselves, and dishonesty catches them off guard nearly every time, until they learn to be more cautious. One of the most beneficial virtues of the 9 vibration is the ability to penetrate straight to the heart or the core of a situation instead of indulging in circumlocution and the slow process of analysis. The Mars rulership of 9 allows these people to get directly to the point of swiftly, and this makes them extremely impatient of slower thinkers, which doesn't help them win popularity contests. In fact, impatience with the mistakes of others and with errors of thinking they see instantly is one of the traits 9 people find the most difficult to control. The familiar catch phrase "what you see is what you get" perfectly describes the 9 personality (when is surfaces to interact with the Sun Sign nature) because of the complete lack of guile. It's against the very essence of the 9 vibration to plan complex strategies or to play games to get what they want from other people. It's so much easier to simply demand what they want! Since such straightforwardness is unexpected by the other person, 9 people usually get what they want by catching the opposition by surprise. Many people are touched by the visible vulnerability and childlike quality of the 9 person, and feel protective toward him or her; others see these qualities as foolish, one of the reasons that 9 people are seldom truly respected by friends and business associates - until that Mars temper and courageous spirit comes forth, like a battle cry, and those who underestimated the 9 vibration's pure energy will take a sudden, shocked step backward. There's a strong tendency toward vanity. At least that's what it appears to be on the surface. But 9 people are not vain, even though they are admittedly almost constantly concerned with their appearance. The true root of this attitude is fear of rejection, because, beneath all their bravado, 9 people inwardly tremble with a lack of confidence. As self- assertive as they may seem, they need continual reassurance that they are liked - respected - admired - and loved. For all the pushiness and independent airs of 9 people, they're secretly very unsure of themselves. Generous to a fault and normally extravagant (unless the Sun Sign cancels this trait most of the time...although it will still be evident on rare occasions in anyone born as Number 9) - 9 people need no lessons in giving. The first instinct is to give, to let go, and let tomorrow take care of itself.
Note she didn't actually say it vibrates to pluto, but it makes sense. Either that or 0. Dean. IP: Logged |

Hi everyone! This is my first post, and I was excited to find such an active and friendly forum. I dabble a little in chaldean numerology. Applying your 9 personal year from the pythagorean system doesn't correlate accurately with the chaldean meanings. If you want to find your year vibration for a specific year or date add the single name number (both the first and last name you're most commonly referred to) to the day you were born, and then add that to the year. Here's mine as an example: Chris:14=5 Hogan:21=3 Name number:5+3=8 Birthdate: June 9 9+8=17=8+2006 (projected year)=16=7 16=7 is then my personal year. This is not going to be a favorable year for me (16 represents the tower struck by lightning). There is added strength if the year is in vibration with the day you were born. Using me as an example 2006=8 which is not in vibration with 9, the date I was born, making it even more probable it will not be a favorable year. If you want me to help you out with a lucky year or date you don't need to post your actual name if you're worried about your identity on the internet. Post your first name number, last name number (using chaldean method), and give me the date you were born (i.e. I would post First name:14=5 Lastname:21=3 Birthdate:June 9, the year is not important). A method for figuring out life changing years is adding your birth year, and then adding the sum to the year you were born. For example I was born in 1982: 1982=20 20+1982= 2002 20 means spiritual enlightenment, and ironically that's when I first got into numerology and I met a psychic deacon. I hope this helps, and I look forward to conversing with others on this forum, because I'm trying to hone my skilland knowledge base.IP: Logged |

Hey, Welcome yellowfever! Nice to see another gem around! Well, mine are 15 and 20. You don't believe in middle names? My year is 1978. So what numbers can you calculate again? Is it a mixture of Chaldean and Pythagorean? Dean. ------------------ Always think compassion... HI sesame, I'm assuming 15 is your name number and you were born on the 20. I use the chaldean method as stated by Cheiro, because every prediction using the Chaldean method can be verified by a skilled palmist, astrologer, or tarot card reader (which cheiro was all three). The middle name is only used if people refer to you by it. For example, if I was doing John F. Kennedy's numbers I would include the F when evaluating his public life since he was well known by it by the public. If you are refferred to in a different manner by your family and those at work, you would have to do two different calculations to predict your life in either. Since your name number is a 6 and your birth number is a 2, you're probably considered by others and yourself to be very artistic, and romantic. Ouwardly people see you as imaginative and inventive. Inwardly you're very determined in accomplishing goals, and you love entertaining. Jealous people really irritate you. Your personal year for 2006 will be 6+2+8=16=7 The number 16 is represented in Tarot by the tower struck by lightning or shattered citadel which means the defeat of one's plans, so if you have been planning something important that will be accomplished in 2006 just be careful. You are not doomed to have your plans defeated if you know in advance, just be cautious. On a better note 2006=8 which is in vibratioin with your 2 birth number. Both of these numbers represent material wealth and gain. This year will be even better for you financially if you have more 8's and 2's (i.e. you're a cancer (representing 2), capricorn or aquarius(both representing 8)) or if your fist name or last name equals an 8 or 2. 8 represents wealth and fame by unconcious means. Take Paul Newman who is born on Jan 26 (both representing 8's), and his name comes out to an 8. Although Paul Newman is known as one of the greatest actors, and is in the Guiness book of records for his illustrious car racing career, most people know him from his salad dressing. Even though he was nominated 9 times for an academy award he only won once for the color of money which most people believe was a pity award. He won only one Oscar as a life time achievement award (also out of pity). His salad dressing company, which he donates all of the profits to charity, has donated over $200 million. 2 represents gaining wealth by more concsious means. Your birth year added up equals 25, thus I hypothesize 2003 was a turning point in your life. The earlier part of your life you suffered more hardships and strife than most people, but in 2003 your combined experience and observations of others paid off. People with a two year usually have harsh child hoods that include physical or mental abuse by those around them. Sorry if some of my deffinitions seem a little broad, I'm in a never ending process of getting more comfortable with the numbers, and thus being able to define each number better.IP: Logged | |
