Lots of people are in this condition (some of them men). Giggling, shreiking, being generally hysterical all the time. What's that about?------------------ And I will give thee the treasures of darkness Isiah 45:3 IP: Logged |

Olaughter is the best medicine cornflakes isnt it... lets all giggle and wiggle together shall we... most amusing to let it all go in hysterical guffaws wouldnt you say? My aunt Beattie was prone to rip roaring laughter but the only problem being she was at times prone to peeing in her underwear. O well there are worse things happen at sea IP: Logged |

sir m ~i'm certain that you must be quite the coveted dinner party guest... in that you're so very accomplished at initiating lively and spirited conversation, well before the noon hour even arrives... (over here in the colonies anyway ) IP: Logged |

I don't know...sometimes people are just...happy, they have something happening in their life that's good and they're...happy. No other word to describe it, really...something says or does something that's really funny, it hits you just at the right time, and you're shrieking laughter...who knows? Ask them what's going on? Warning serious answer ahead: This title of this thread reminded me of my best friend in college - she was wonderful then! The condition of being a silly girl is about being light-hearted and feeling relatively safe, its not that she didn't know danger, but at the moment of 'hysterics' she was deep from the bottom of her toes enjoying being alive. Puppies can have this condition sometimes too. It can be infectious if you are lucky enough to be suseptible. There's a good cartoon narrated by Ringo Staff called 'the Point' where there are two silly girl characters - in a cartoon it might be easier to let your reserve go for a moment and and allow yourself to be infected. The Walt Disney movie Mary Poppins has a scene with Uncle Arthur that is less successful at being infectous but still I recommend them both, to myself, right now - I'm always much too serious! I'm totally affected by this condition.I hope they don't find a cure. I rather enjoy it. Let's find a cure for the *old man syndrome* though! That is more than I can handle... and it really brings down my *silly girl syndrome*! IP: Logged |

Being idiotic. Pretentious. Conforming. In need of positive reinforcement and not knowing how to get it. That behavior, and i take it we've witnessed the same phenomenon, is NOT born out of joy. Ask yourself this 'does a buddhist monk go around behaving like a twat because he has found the 'joy' of enlightenment?' No.------------------ 4th December 1974 18:00GMT Isle of Wight UK Today is "National be nice to Pisceans day". (Don't worry they won't remember)

Yes it has 'both' meanings over here. I never use it as a pseudonym of Vagina. I used it to mean 'annoying imicile'.------------------ 4th December 1974 18:00GMT Isle of Wight UK Today is "National be nice to Pisceans day". (Don't worry they won't remember)
