Mannu- I edited my comments on your Karma topic... I put more information there... read again... I also placed some of Lotusheartone's former quotes, which I believe are important..I do not believe in the cusp Linda Goodman didn't either... at first, I did but when I read her section it makes sense... it is not that you are in the cusp it is that your Ascendant or moon is in that so called cusp. It is in the LOVE SIGNS BOOK in the beginning referring to astrology 13 or something of that nature.. Cheers, ------------------ ~*Silverstone~*

Yeah I agree with Linda. However experience tells me that as one grows old, one sheds one of the signs of the cusps and returns truly to their real nature. Do you you know there are 88 constellations and not just 12? It does not mean that the sun travels to all of them. What I meant to say was that astrology still lacks tools? Theres too much errors in charts and everyone follows their own methods? And the more the tools gets better, the more persons outweighs the odds implied against him. I think we are going to shed the clothes of flesh someday and there will be no more astrology. So I have stopped asking people about their sun signs over the past few months. IP: Logged |

BTW, you mentioned some forethought on LA? When I got the news I would be travelling, my first reaction was may be I would finally visit the ashram of a guru I really heard a lot about? What was your imagination?

I agree in some of your comments about Astrology--- Rememember, Astrology is the mother of Astronomy, etc... I have worked with people all of my life and still believe in the essence of Astrology... going back to their sun sign... the ascendant and/or moon plays a big role where you may get confused... but it always goes back to their sun sign... I have guessed peoples' sun signs and ascendants correctly a lot of it thanks to Linda Goodman and other resources but maily hers in that aspect...Every time I say to myself, "no, they sure don't act like such and such sign... to find out later that it does fit their sun sign... when I knew it all along... yet, again, I went against my gut... as I said earlier, not using my third eye... when it was always there until I realized it!------------------ ~*Silverstone~* IP: Logged |

Hmmm, I though you began crash course on astrology but wasn't sure until I saw the post where you listed the numbers, planets and zodiacs. That was brilliant. No my ascendant is not Leo. I think this will interest you "My moon is in scorpio" [in your sun sign that is] Astrology is good to understand the vibes that comes from people. For example, when a Leo acts funny, we must understand he wants to be alone.
But sometimes the humans that we all are we identify our egos with our ideas on astrology and thats when it becomes a problem. IP: Logged |

What was your imagination?" WWWWWWOWWWWW how extraordinary I think I hit it! You mean, my intuition! I believe you will meet a Guru; yes, I know Guru also means that Gee-you-are-you... but I think that you will be meeting someone-- I don't know why but it hit me hard... a positive vibe, yet meaningful... That's all I can say... but I will get back to you on this... don't let me forget... Cheers-- and hey that was a cool picture with the cheers... Cheers my friend... ------------------ ~*Silverstone~* IP: Logged |

Mannu~ "But sometimes the humans that we all are we identify our egos with our ideas on astrology and thats when it becomes a problem"Silverstone~ That is because it also goes back to peoples' cultural, moral, political, social or ethical values... but again, there sun sign is their true essence... one must surpass the negative traits of his or her sun signs... in order to be illumiated... some people are just not evolved. You are a crab! My brother is a Cancer you people have a great heart... No wonder you do seem like a Cancer! ------------------ ~*Silverstone~*

"...when a Leo acts funny, we must understand he wants to be alone."Could be... but actually it is because they want attention... you cannot ignore a Leo for long... even if they seem shy... trust me! They were born to entertain... actually Leo and a crab can have a great time together with their great sense of humor... Leo's outgoing personality and Cancer's great laugh!

Back to Earthquakes ~ I started my earthquake kit! I put in flashlights, radio, first aid, and today bought some bottled water. I still have quite a ways to go, and things to gather, and a great container to put it in. I also want to make personal backpack style kits. I was thinking........what if all the hoopla over earthquakes is causing fear....and this fear stirring in everyone *attracts* an earthquake......... My newspaper said that an earthquake here would be equivalent to a Katrina disaster. IP: Logged |

My earthquake kit is really coming along! I went to the Earthquake Supply Store today and the lady told me that bottled water in plastic only lasts 6 months because the plastic leaches into the water. I learned awhile back about plastics containing estrogens which are bad for cancer........ So she had some packets of H20 that last 5 years! So I got some of those. The store had good ideas like supplies campers use, little tiny stoves and burners, etc. But hers were too expensive so I'll try to find some on my own. IP: Logged |

Juniperb ~ How kind of you to think of Jasmine btw, she just turned 3 years old on Monday the 17th!Jasmine had to change diets last Fall.......so all I can do is store some of her special kibble along with our stuff, and replace it every few months. I have to include some items for her, too, in the kit. She still is not micro-chipped. Do you have any opinion on micro-chipping? IP: Logged |

hi Nephthys, I believe chipping is an excellent program for the four leggeds. I have my dogs & llamas chipped. It is a easy procedure; a needle injects the micro chip in the soft folds below the ears (not the ears). Mine never even winced when they had it done. I have the only Great Pyres and llamas in the tri county area, but it gives me a greater assurance of no one trying to keep them. Just think if the pets in Hurricane Katrina were chipped.... love

I was in 2 earthquakes in my life. Once when I went to California. I was 12 at the time. It wasn't strong. The second time was in Colombia when I was visitng my family.
I was high up in the Andes mountains that day. It was pretty strong.
In the city down below it was stronger.
There was also a small earthquake here in New York City like in the 80's and another one like in 2001. Only certain areas shook.
How odd around here. But you never know.
