To the Knowflakes who are residents of California
or Calee fown yeea (Arnold accent)..........(no offense, Arnold)

Do you have your earthquake kit prepared? The 100 year anniversary of the big one of 1906 is 4/18.

I've been meaning to make my earthquake kit for 6 months now and I keep putting it off, or I don't have the $$, or, I am just too busy, etc.

Did you read all the info. about the next one, and/or watch the documentaries going on lately? Do you have a plan for you, your family and friends? Or are you doing nothing like everyone else I know?

Just curious - would be nice if all Knowflakes who are Calif. residents replied! Thanks!

Other Knowflakes are welcome too!

Hi Nephtys, I just watched the documentary on the History channel;horrifying to say the least. I immediately thought of you & Aphrodite (Amy).

Get the damn kit now!

NW MI has a minor fallout potential of the New Madrid fault which is zero compared to you all`s reality.

God Bless the Calee fown yeea ians !!

Fayte,
How do you post other smilies other than the ones that are available here at Lindaland? I know that in actuality onw can copy paste anything, such as a picture, but somehow, here I can't paste it... Or is that a NFC answer?

Mannu- How was the LA beach?-- you know, I am not that far from there!

Cheers,

I have water, flashlights, and some other things ready... but I always wonder where a good place to keep this stuff is. In a closet? Under the bed? They always seem to happen in the middle of the night... but who knows.

I have a sixth sense about earthquakes and get very specific dreams predicting them. It's almost uncanny. I'll let you all know if I have one...

Best Kit:
1. Visualize stability in the Earth's crust. 2. Send love energy to the Earth's core.
3. Pray for stability in the lives of those who are suffering spiriutal, mental or emotional earthquakes world over.

There will never be any earthquake of any sort in your life if these three steps are followed.

Scarlett ~ We are going to keep our supplies/kit in the garage, I think, for easy access. I think I am going to make backpack/duffle bag style kits, to grab-n-go.

Sue G - Basically, you can buy a kit, or make your own. I am going to make my own, but there's an earthquake supply store I've been meaning to go to for ideas.

Everyone - thanks for your well wishes!

The local newspapers are LOADED with articles about the 1906 quake and what we can expect with the forthcoming quake! Gosh, I have so much to read...... I must go!

Juniperb -

I know, I know! I will sure feel so mad at myself if the big one hits and I'm not ready! I've been talking about it/thinking about it for MONTHS!

You know, all my friends (local Californians) that I mention making a kit to either say nothing, or look at me like I'm a freak. Can you believe that! My local paper says that my county, Marin, is smack dab in the middle of ground zero.

Heh Silverstone,

Lucky you to be in this area. I am in awe with the weather in LA. No doubt the film capital city shifted from New York to LA in 1909.

The beaches here are definitely better than the New Jersey beaches. People are hot in both places hehehehe but the water is much cleaner in LA beaches.

I am closest to Manhattan and El segundo beach. I loved Santa Monica and Venice beach too.

I am not so new to the area. I was here 7 years ago in Santa Barbara during the same month. I wonder if there's a reason behind my coming here.

These days I work Monday to Thursday and return home the same week. Have seen them all.

Cheers!!!
BTW, are you linked with England in any way?I noticed you say cheers often. Thats an English thing.

I am little nervous about the Uranus visibility? Wonder what tomorrow will bring.
No I am not afraid of death. Or am I?
I mean I love to sacrifise myself for others? But death for the sake of it , thats a no. Why must we chose death?

Unless the grains die in the soil it will not produce its fruits. But what will my death achieve ? Nothing. Nada.

What do you all say?

Hi All!

California has been on my Mind alot..
Mother Earth..goes through cycles..this natural occurences must happen..in order for her to stablize..and fix the damage that has has been done..
when we live in Harmony with the Earth..we do not poison her..dump our garbage in her..we use Mother Earth materials..that can be re-used..and not harmful

Never say Never..thinking and seeing things in the light you want..will not change the reality..of the Earth changes that must occur..set in motion..by US..
Go within..to your spirit..with God Source..listen to the messages and signs you receive..it's natural for God and the universe to help us..accept that help..understand yourSelf..
Love ALL!

we must come into balance
if we want Peace on Earth..
Change comes through Aquarian Disruption..
wake up..or be woken up..
Free Wi11 Choice for ALL. ...

Sending EveryOne Lots of Love..

Hey guys n gals!
Another Cali person here. The South Bay of the City of Lost Angels to be exact
I do not have an Earthquake kit prepared either. I have read that it is a good idea to purchase one of those large heavy duty plastic outside trash cans with a lid to put yer stuff in (and keep it outside somewhere). Stuff like water bottles, flashlights, batteries, radio, matches, dried foods, think camping type stuff.
I figure if I have chosen to incarnate here at a time when a devastating earthquake hits then....so be it!
I have not read any info or seen any shows lately about what's going on with the tectonic plates in the world. Nor anything on our San Andreas fault. L A island, here we come!! Kidding....

`Who are you?' said the Caterpillar. This was not an encouraging opening for a conversation. Alice replied, rather shyly, `I--I hardly know, sir, just at present-- at least I know who I WAS when I got up this morning, but I think I must have been changed several times since then.'

Did I really imply that earlier?

Well, that picture is cute though? I imagine you by a similar halo though?

No I am not a saggi. My neptune is in Saggi though. Reading follows:

quote:

This placement should produce a generation of extreme idealists. Even with older people, this energy has brought about a religious revival unparalleled in this century. As is characteristic of both Neptune and Sagittarius, most of these religions are sects from other countries such as India, and their teachings are quite foreign to Western tradition. However, there is also a strong Christian revival, especially among the fundamentalist and Pentecostal sects. The children of this time will continue that trend.
