Hello all, could people advise/discuss......Which name is most important when finding the compound number? Would it be the name on the birth certificate even if that full name is never/rarely used or the individual has married? Is the numerological value of this name still stamped on the individual? Or would it be the name you sign the most, ie your first and surname, as this is used a great deal? Or how about simply the first name, as we call one another this, so it is used a great deal and therefore must have a strong vibe? You see I am concerned as the name my son had until he was eight vibrated to the number 13 but now when I married and he adopted my new surname it vibrates to the not so powerful number of 26. Does his original name number still have power. Luckily his birth date is a 9. ------------------ SCORPIO SUN 5TH HOUSE ASCENDANT CANCER CANCER MOON 12TH HOUSE IP: Logged |

You know what? This topic gets brought up quite often, and each time, I have the same answer - that the full name as given by your parents (and you before birth) is the most important, but that all combinations have influence, but I just thought that maybe the influence depends heavily on other influences like astrology etc. Like how single names can contast sharply to certain signs, and harmonise with others. Maybe the compound number has the "flavour" of the single it reduces too? In this sense, each compound number should be considered alongside your other aspects. At the end of the day, do your numbers and learn how best to bring out your best traits, and to learn from the challenges. This is really the point behind them. And maybe also to know whether they should be changed. Short answer: I think all letters and combinations have influence.Best of luck with it. I am of the opinion that the name the person is known by and used most often is the most important name. I have stopped using my birth name some 11 years ago, and I no longer feel its influence.

It is like fate vs free will. The date of birth cannot be changed. That's the fate aspect of our life. But our name can be changed. That's the free will aspect. The name given at birth is not our fate. IP: Logged |

i am usually addressed by a diminutive of my legal name, and this name vibrates to a 5, first name wise. My full legal, married name has correspondences with the hermit (31)... i hate it, and cant wait to divorce and get my maiden name back, and stop feeling so bloody isolated! Numerologically I am a 17 with the diminutive most commonly adressed version of my first name, and my maiden name.. wanna go back there! It also corresponds with the number of the Star card in the tarot.. my favourite which is associated with aquarius. so yay for 17! The name i am most commonly called is a 5, tho, and corresponds with the magician in compund numbers. Well in true libra moon style i double barrelled my name upon marriage, cos i was indecisive.. so i didnt lose my old name, it just got lumbered with extra baggage. :lmao: hey ho divorce lets go..
