No, you're not too superstitious. Neptune is quite prominent in my chart, my rising is Pisces, and I have Moon in the 1st House; I'm like a psychic sponge, and an amazingly gullible one at that, so I'm interested in knowing why can't a psychic read too much in one day. I'm not a reader per se, but I would see a person walking down the road and get depressed or something like that, and I know I didn't have that feeling before, or I would go to a place with a terrible overall vibe and I'd feel so overwhelmed I can almost faint. Do I make sense? Hehe. I don't think I can consciously "read" people yet because I always doubt that I'm making things up. But I do want to know how to protect myself so that I wouldn't be too drained everytime I go out, especially as I don't have days, let alone weeks to bounce back.

I try to be cheerful whenever I come in contact with people, but sometimes it feels like wearing a mask, to keep smiling when I feel so terrible inside because I get all these vibes I don't exactly know from where or what they want from me.

So to your question why the number of readings must be less, its because our own body has limitations.
But thats not the primary reason. The primary reason is that listen to what the source wants you to
achive and to what extent. There may not be any limits either. May be you were meant to be super man/woman
The source uses us, lets say to provide as much healing and in particular areas as much as it should be. The subjects must be analysed in body , mind and spirit totality.
We are only conduits. So we may be too confident of our gifts and it fails us when required. I hope
it will make sense with more personal experience.

I would really advice you to read biography of Edgar cayce. I think someone here posted a link
about emailing you an electronic copy if you responde to that post. Please click the search link on

Did you check the web site "Place of light"?. I think its a school that helps people with gifts. Also theres so many talented people here I believe. Try to read daily the latest posts for some months. Also make as much use of search button.

Yes, that's true. Fear is what's holding me back. I could actually shake when interacting with people; feels like my heart shrinks... and let's just say it feels extremely uncomfortable. Like my heart chakra is shutting off or something. So yeah... I need to know how to protect myself. I'll remember what you said, that I must not fear.

Since I was a child, I have had dreams that end up happening or lead me in a certain direction. For example, when I was in high school, I dreamed 3 nights in a row that my paternal Grandfather was dead. He wasn't in bad health and there didn't seem to be any logical reasons for the dreams, however; three months later he did indeed pass away.
I believe you can learn to "tap into" those intuitions and dreams, etc.
As far foretelling the future, even when you use an oracle such as the Tarot.......you are seeing your most likely future. The future is not set in stone; we are still creating it. Decisions we make today create the future.
I am very skeptical that ANYONE, while not even in a meditative state could "tune into" ALL situations....talk to ANY "dead relative" they want to at a moment's notice, and have ALL the answers.

Perhaps its because we do not look and therefore we do not find 'em. There's many people like Cayce in flesh, especially in remote countries.
Such souls just don't incarnate in one country but based on needs of the people may incarnate anywhere in the world.
The world is known to have honored great men/woman only posthumously. Perhaps because we do not respect our own divinity let alone respect the divinity within others.
You are right on pointing people to tap into their own potentials. However some types of people learn more from external world and their interactions with it.
They ask for signs when the signs are all around 'em. Perhaps its these people that needs sheperding.
I do find many conscientious people in America these days. May be they are reaping the rewards of their past karma here. Their national bird is the eagle
which stands for generosity and a symbol of power.

Anyway, from what I noticed, people are a bit nicer to me. I kind of get the impression that they seem to see me as "fragile" and don't want to hurt me. I don't know if it's because of the Moon in the 1st House or my rising. Could also be my Pisces Rising... I kind of look vulnerable

About my own personality, I'm kind of impressionable, always copying those I'm close to (especially boyfriend ).

I agree with this statement made by Kat in regards to Sylvia's gift.

If you are someone who insists on answers from the outside, you would be better to consult your neighbor who has 'a knack for knowing things' than a 'professional' psyic-in my opinion.

Psychic ability can be good for psychology,business,healing,politics,exploring,
detective/police work...all kinds of things.

People with psychic ability don't have to claim that they are psychic when they are psychic...some people just see it as just the way they operate in life.

Some people choose to have careers as psychic readers.

Amazing Randi writes crap about Astrology being bullcrap. He wrote a book called Flim Flam,and he denounced the metaphysical sciences. He really made Astrology out to be fake. He wrote about when he was an astrologer,he cut out newspaper clippings and make horoscopes based on those. Of course,that's not real astrology. I am not into newspaper horoscopes either.

There are many genuine astrologers that help people and are very accurate.

I am one of them myself. I don't think that I am better than anybody. Actually,I have a history of feelings of inadequacy because of my Dyslexia,Dyspraxia...I am very rightbrained myself that I think mainly in pictures..think in pictures all the time and visualize nonstop,very intuitive,thinking outside the box,and vivid imagination,3-D visualization.....those are my Dyslexic strengths. I have verbal weaknesses including history of speech problems,auditory processing problems,and short term memory problems for words(both oral and written). I also have problems with directions like left and right. I am very disorganized too. I have been misdiagnosed as having schizoaffective bipolar disorder because of my speech. I was diagnosed as having inattentive type AD/HD.

Like many neurodivergent types, I have sensory integration issues including hypersensitivity to external stimuli.

I do have Sun,Mercury,and Venus in Scorpio as well as Moon in Pisces square Neptune,Mercury parallel Neptune,and Mercury conj Sun/Neptune midpoint.

That shows my being highly emotional,sensitive,empathic,imaginative person..an emotional,psychic sponge.

But in this day and age, I can't be myself with others...especially psychiatrists
I have to keep things to myself or else I will get misunderstood.

I believe a lot of people are like me that keep their true natures secret from others.

I hid my special education experiences secret from a lot of people too. I didn't want them thinking that I am stupid. In 2003,I started being more open.

I feel that many psychics keep their abilities secret. Who wants to put up with all the stress of others giving them a hard time for being different??? I certainly don't...I am already different with my Dyslexia,Dyspraxia...being in special education in my early years and being called "retard" by the regular school children made that very apparent to me. I am special. I hate that word. I am special because I have a history of special education.

When I was 6 yrs old, I cried to my mom and asked her why does everybody pick on me. She told me it was because I am special. I was...I was in special education because of my Dyslexia,Dyspraxia.
