I am really confused---

I quote what Fayte said on "My Mother Died Today" thread. And as Fayte chose to not take sides, I will not either...I think her words were fair and impartial.

For me, I understand where both women are coming from..I could actually feel there would be a clash of personalities, two strong women....both with very definate opinions....

And at the end of the day its none of our business really (to quote Fayte again). Its between D and Fayte.

I dont think its always appropriate to take sides just because you are friendly with a person....the other side may have a very valid point too....

Can i interject? I don't really get worked up about what people say, I look at LL as a place to learn and grow. ALSO - it is always wise to consider the motivations and intentions of the person trying to help.

I see some writing suicide notes, exposing their life for all to see on a forum which is dedicated to other things. This is not a psychological help line. That being said, the good people at LL will listen and try to offer words of comfort and advice. That is purely good intentions.

i find it pretty bold that someone would post all of this personal info along with a suicide note and then berate people trying to help because of their "tone", or whatever.

Also, I've read any of DFD's posts. There is extreme differences...one will be exceedingly sweet and sugar coated, the next will be angry and confrontative and self-centered. I have no problem with DFD - I don't have any personal feeling about her - as a human being, I hope she finds love and light.

Maybe you should find another source for expressing your frustration and anger that's not LL.

You seem to think you are worse off than everybody else, and that's offensive to me.

I understand what it's like to feel angry and helpless and I know what it's like to feel unsure about others intentions. No one here has attacked you or judged you, if you feel that way then you must be reading into it wrong.

All I see is people that are offering you help and I see fayte being the main person doing this.

We're not counsellors but there are many many people here who have been through hardship. Please don't assume we don't know what it is to feel some of the feelings you're experiencing!

I think sometimes people come on to forums to be listened to, not necessarily to be offered advice....

I feel there is a huge difference and sometimes thats all we need....someone just to listen. Yes bleakbeauty I agree, we are not here necessarily to counsel others, but often enough just as a listening ear....

There can be a vast difference...!

In the past, I have been given advice which wasnt right for me...and at times that advice was delivered in a forceful manner...

This doesnt always work....a sensitive and gentle heart often does....
