...O, the feeling that song stirs. Is Beauty truly cherished in this world? Is it meaningful? In the end does it make any difference? blah... before I make a complete ass of myself further here... Mirandee, hail your Taurean tenacity and your beautiful giving heart. I'm so moved by all the trouble you've went through. thank you.

Lia, sweetie, you and people like you, know better than anyone that love always, in the end, makes a difference. Keep on loving, even when that love is abused, misunderstood, misjudged, and not returned because you have done your part in making the world a better place. Even if we only touch one person's life we have made the world a better place and conquered evil. You, Lia, have the legacy of your three beautiful children to prove that love makes a difference. It seems there is one guy who really wants that love from you. Do you know the symbolic meaning of the sapphire jewel? This might scare you more about the man's romantic gesture to you , but it respresents, besides the healing powers attributed to it, fidelity, honesty, beauty and longevity in a romantic relationship. In medeval times only royalty and those in the Churches could wear the stone sapphire. Others who dared wear sapphire were punished. To this day the Pope and cardinals of the RC faith wear a sapphire ring and the sapphire jewel is present in the pope's staff. Other religions also still wear the jewel. Has a very spiritual meaning to it. Not sure the guy knew all this though. IP: Logged |

Tiny Tim!!!!! Actually even though he was very weird I kind of liked the guy. Liked some of his songs even. I liked that he didn't appear to take himself seriously. IP: Logged |

Tiptoe through the window By the window, that is where I'll be Come tiptoe through the tulips with meOh, tiptoe from the garden By the garden of the willow tree And tiptoe through the tulips with me Knee deep in flowers we'll stray We'll keep the showers away And if I kiss you in the garden, in the moonlight Will you pardon me? And tiptoe through the tulips with me * * * * * TINY TIM for President (or Pope) IP: Logged |

Mirandee, I agree with you: We must not wait for tomorrow to tell people how much they mean to us. At the same time we must not count how many lives we have touched in a good way also until death. I was being cynical there. Lialei,
May your heart beat involuntarily gazillion times and may you continue to shine your light here until you wish otherwise May your life be as pink as the color of Lindland or the below picture
Hope you will like it.

Mirandee, thank you for the kind things you wrote too. I never entirely stop believing...just falter momentarily.Tiny Tim?? I'm weird, but that guy is even too weird for me! Just kidding! Very cute. I always dig anyone who unabashedly lets their freak-flag fly high. IP: Logged |

Cheers too Lia (nice graphic)!!!Just noticed that you said >>>>>>>She's magical. Doves, Neptune's staff, a Lion (Leo Moon), Pink...it's all there. (how do you know? ) I really don't know. This planet is really magical, isn't it? The other day as I was walking on the street, a bunch of teen were driving and they yelled "We Love you". I felt so joyous. A signal from the universe perhaps IP: Logged |

A sign from the Universe? No, they were teenagers.... you must be HOT! heeheeSome days ago I was whistled at walking through an intersection in the city. I think I would have preffered an exclamation of Love. A bit more romantic and chivalrous...better then feeling like walking meat. Well, you knew anyways, so you must have psychic powers then. Guess it goes with all your water. The River runs deep. IP: Logged |

Lia I have been running into young people wearing shirts that say make love not war. Dressed in new wave hippie garb too. So surreal, Deja Vu/Vuja de And when I talk to them they are into peace and tolerance! Maybe there is hope for humanity after all. ------------------ Age is a State of Mind. Yeah, I see that a lot too. It's cool. Always felt like an out of time hippy myself growing up. My friends were into the big hair-sprayed hair and I was the only one wearing straight hair, moccasins, and tye-dye. hahaTiny Tim for Halloween? Why does that not surprise me? You are most wonderful too, Fayte. IP: Logged |

I recently saw a guy with a tatoo of man and woman engaged in sex in several poses on both of his arms. What was missing was the sexual parts. What appeared ironical was that this hippy was at a spiritual retreat that I went to I said to myself "So What?"

This is why I will never get a tatoo. They are way too permanent and waaaaay too painful to get removed. I like what Johnny Depp did with his tatoo. When he was very much in love with Winona Ryder and wanted to marry her he got a tatoo that said " Winona Forever." After they broke up he got the tatoo changed to read "Wino Forever" because he also loved his wine. Good he could do that with his tatoo. Can't think of how this guy is going work that kind of thing with his tatoo. hee hee IP: Logged |
