I woke up early because I was very energetic and ready for my Chemistry test which I studied for about 25-30 hours on.....(no, I am not exagerating, I have been studying for hours each day for 2 weeks now). Felt in a very good mood and pretty happy. About 1/2 hr. before the test, the a/c kicks on very cold, and so I get a headache. So the test comes. I just went blank. It was one of the hardest tests I ever had in my life. Of course it had all the difficult problems. There was so much detail to study/know for this test. I am so devastated. I was so upset by this test, so I cried the whole way home. As I was about to go onto the freeway onramp, a guy knocked on my car and said, "You have a flat!" OMG So I had to pull over right before the freeway onramp. Had to wait 1/2 hr. for AAA. Then after the guy came, I cried the whole way home. Sorry to bore everyone with my bad luck / negativity. So how's everyone else's Friday the 13th? IP: Logged |

Taurus80 ~ the embaressing thing, is that I DID break down during the test. I started crying and had to stop myself. Now I realize that I must have been sighing really loud because I asked the teacher if I could go outside and get some fresh air, and several people looked up at me with big eyes. THANK YOU FOR YOUR KIND WORDS IP: Logged |

Hopefully it turns out OK. I once completely bombed a semester of uni, and after each failed exam, I'd sit and watch ducks. Not much you can do until the next exam Dean. IP: Logged |

Thank You. (but what, may I ask, is Uni?)Saturday had to take my car to get the tire repaired and put back on. The tire place I went to, has a small driveway so all the cars are lined up with their keys inside, scrunched together, waiting their turn to enter the garage, while the people wait in the waiting room. I was thinking, Gawd, that's kind of risky to leave everyone's keys in the cars like that, so close to the busy street........I hope no one's car gets stolen. Just as I thought that, the workers ran in, "someone just stole a car!" Luckily I spotted my car right away so it wasn't mine, but still, what awful luck for the poor person!

Sorry about your bad day, Nephthys Oddly enough Friday the 13th has always been one of my luckier and better days. In fact the number 13 seems to be a lucky number for me. Don't have a clue as to why that is but I'm grateful for the blessing. IP: Logged |

Dear ArtLovesDawn ~ I won't find out until Wednesday, and that's IF she has finished grading them all. She has 3 classes (because the other Chem teacher got promoted to Dean, so she aquired his class).......we haven't even gotten ANY labs back yet, this whole semester, and we are already past 1/2-way through the semester. It's the same teacher I had last semester ~ and she does know I try hard, because I always go to her for help, e-mail her, and she knows I go to the tutors as well. On a good note, I feel a lot more assured with the labs this semester. Last semester I was always really lost and not clear WHAT we were doing in labs. Thanks for asking. ~N. IP: Logged |

I received the results of my Chemistry test ~ ~ ~ . . . . .I got 89.5% out of 100%. I couldn't believe it. One question I thought I did wrong I got completely right except for units. (I put meters instead of seconds). So I missed only 1/2 point there. Another problem I missed 5 points 'cos I didn't do it correctly, and then just a point here or there for significant figures on other problems. PHEW! What a relief!!! IP: Logged |
