Hi all, I remember reading Star signs so long ago and it was the beginning of my awakening..thank you Linda Goodman ! Your a gift to the world and we love you here. Linda spoke of gems and a few years ago I purchased a Ayurvedic gem bangle from a very nice man living in Encinitas, Ca. The bangle I have is a nine gem one and I can attest to it's ability to increase ones vibratory rate and protection. This science is ancient and was discovered ages ago by the Rishis of India. Modern day Masters have also recommended these metal and gem bangles to protect man as written by Paramahansa Yogananda in his modern spiritual classic "Autobiography of a Yogi". Check out this Link and learn more about gem healing and there is a great essay on the subject. http://www.astrogems.com/

Thats great they advertise there. I think they are fair with their prices and the quality is high. Not everyone can afford the faceted high priced gems which are not necessary. I love crystals and their healing/preventative properties. I also believe someday science will have the instruments to measure these subtle energies of the crystals. IP: Logged |

Hey Breezy, kept meaning to thank you for this: "Hi Noreenz I have not studied Vedic astrology in depth but have had my chart done and such. Vedic astrology has it's origins in the higher ages and like western astrology is a science when interpreted by those of intuitive perception imho. It was a leap of faith in part on my behalf to get the gem bangle. I had already worn a copper, gold and silver astrological bangle for several years and experienced it's benefits. In 1996 I had met a friend at the temple from India who was wearing a 9 gem bangle and he said it had helped him as well. The problem was that it was cost prohibitive for me at that time and his was made in India. It wasn't until 2002 that I had heard about astrogems in encinitas,ca. and started thinking about getting one since he was in the country. The origins of my first bangle decision though go further back after reading Paramahansa Yogananda's "Autobiography of a Yogi". In it he speaks of the benefits as discovered by the Rishis of ancient India who found that pure metals emit an astral light which counteracts negative radiations and pulls from the planets when worn against the skin. Most effective of all they discovered were faultless jewels of not less than two carats that when worn against the skin offer the greatest protection. Through their superconcious visions and intuitive perceptions they were able to observe and perceive the electrical and magnetic radiations that affect our bodies for good or bad. These bangles used to be reserved in the last 2 milleniums for the very elite only..Kings, royalty..etc. But now the mining techniques have gotten so efficient the gems are not as cost prohibitive for most of us in western countries. Thats my story. " IP: Logged |
