Hi all,
I've decided to take an extended break from LL. I'm not sure when I'll come back - the last time I did this a couple years ago it was about a year. Take Care.

May I please take this opportunity to say...

LL is full of energy--at times, those of us who need solitued, self-healing, silence, must evaucate, remiss.

There are all kinds of energies here, positive, negative and everything inbetween!! My gosh, that is what makes us human!!

However, to the sensitive indiviual, who tends to take in all of these energies a break is often warrented.

In the nearly years' time that I have been scanning the pages of LL, I have noticed quite the flux and change of energies that behold this fourm and I have taken a break or two myself---contiune to keep at arms length pending the most recent break, but intrugue calls me nevertheless!

Sometimes, mostly lately, this place seems quite like High School, with a particular click of gals that approve or dis-approve of you--goodness forbid you be yourself--what is wrong with loving eachother for who we are as individuals?

Are we not here, LL and on earth to HELP oneanother?

I have witnessed alot of spiritual egocentricism here lately, hence my recent hiatus....

Still, I like coming here...

I am sure this post will elicit response..bring it on am ready!!

Terri

I agree HippiChick and understand where your coming from as well Kat. I've been there myself ... and still to this day, i pop in and out frequently to "read-up" but don't participate much anymore. It's got its good days and its bad days here ... for the most part, i try to lay low till the storm blows over.

Take Care and hope to see you again in the future!!

I just think that as long as no one is calling me names or I don't see any racism then I am fine. We can all argue and debate our beliefs and so forth and if I do not like what is being said I can easily go to another forum and join in there. There is alot of ppl through out this forum and we all come from different parts of the world and experience different things period. That is what I keep in mind before I get uspset about someone elses remarks. Cause alot of times they don't know any better..

If there is someone on here that wants to talk about witch craft and all that so be it that is your thing I won't be on that thread bc I am not into witch craft nor do I believe in it, I am not going to take it personal and get mad at the other person bc they are into it, I will just remove myself from that and on to something more positive. Yes I am free to express how I feel about it if I want, but that is it. And that is for anything not just witchcraft.

Ppl take things so personal here on this forum and its not that serious. When and if I decide to remove myself it won't be bc I disagree with someone elses beliefs ect it will be bc I have something better that I can be doing with my time.

Being here is fun and not to mention I have learned so many things it is unbelievable. If ppl were screened for their beliefs and so forth well this place would be pretty much empty.

I am speaking in general here not to one person before that gets out of hand, I have just seen this happen all over the forum ppl getting offended about anothers belief or situation. Please thats their stuff and I don't care. There is alot of bickering going on here now in different forums he say she say stuff. Please that is childish and I want no parts of it, I just over look that and keep going..

I can't control what other ppl think do or say really but I can control how I react to what they say think and do..

Again the racist stuff and the name calling is what would get to me nothing else..

Se you on the other side Kat. As we all know, there is no time but kNow.

Well said hippichick, I liken Lindaland more to a spiritual mall. You can window shop, or pick up a really great trinket at bargain prices, or just hang out with mates, depending on your whim.

Mama Mia, that sort of stuff is band and gets people ejected. I also think sensitivity is part and parcle of Linda, not that she was sensitive - far from it, she was the strongest woman I've heard of, and yet everything about Sally really saddens me. However, it stands to reason that people who are drawn to her works would be sensitive too. Not only emotionally, but spiritually, physically, etc. Another word for sensitive is vulnerable or innocent. But these are the people I love. The "real world" has very few examples of true innocence - except for children and babies etc. Everything seems so competitive, but Linda made me see things as being the way they are. Power comes in all shapes and sizes. The most powerful are the ones that are subtle and make the changes like trees converting CO2 into O2, or the plankten in the oceans that created oxygen as well. If only we learnt from these things more as race. In any case, I love this place because something always comes up that I really love reading or whatever. I'm sorry if I don't write much anymore, but I will continue to try and read in the meantime.

BTW, I really loved that idea Linda had about the birds waking the trees up in the morning to open their pores, and let the water flow out, which drew the nutrients from the soil, to be closed again by the birds in the afternoon. It makes me wonder about that song "Let me tell you about the birds and the bees, and the flowers and the trees..."

Heaps of Love,
Dean.

From www.Wikipedia.org:

Witchcraft, in various historical, religious and mythical contexts, is the use of certain kinds of alleged supernatural or magical powers. A witch is a person who practices witchcraft, and may be male or female. In historical, mythological and demonological contexts a male "witch" is more frequently termed a wizard, sorcerer, warlock, or simply a magician.

Practitioners of Neopagan witchcraft generally refer to themselves as "witches," regardless of their gender, and shun the term "warlock" as denoting a witch who has broken their oaths and betrayed their fellows.

The term witchcraft can have positive or negative connotations depending on cultural context; for instance, in post-Christian European cultures it has historically been associated with dualistic notions of evil and the Devil, while most modern practitioners see it as beneficent and morally positive.

"positive or negative connotations, depending on cultural context...."

There are alot of good witches out there....

I am not interested in any of that nor am I interested in the terms or meanings. I used witch craft as an example. And I hardly ever believe anything that I read on Wikepedia.

I don't want to get into a debate about the word Witch craft and what it means and does not mean, cause the word Witch, witchcraft period rubs me the worng way..But that is my thing and I find nothing good about it either way. But that is me if someone else find it good or whatever to each its own and that does not bother me..

That is what the subject was about I think.. Oh well...
