I find that this happens to me a lot, especially lately. A song will be stuck in my head, and I mean REALLY stuck, until a coincidence happens that lets me see that the song in my head had a message for me. Does this happen to anyone else?Examples: Last week, 'Hotel California' by the Eagles would not go away - especially the line "and still those voices are calling from far away..." and it just repeated incessantly, and seemed to get louder on the day and in the very place when an older guy told me that the Ascended Masters were hearing me. I'd never heard of that before and I'm not even sure that I believe in it, but that's when the message of the song clicked for me. Most recently, my bf has been away and I didn't have an exact idea when he would be back. Then late last night, I didn't know why that old Christmas song "I'll be home with bells on" was stuck in my head! I couldn't get it out... and this morning it was repeating so strongly... within an hour or so he walked through the door, happy to be home, and again the 'message' of the song clicked for me! He'd known since last night that he would be home today. There are other examples but I can't think of them off the top of my head. Just wondering if this happens to others here? IP: Logged |

I've wondered the same thing.I'd usually attribute it to having heard that song recently, but sometimes a completely random song will pop up, and certain lyrics will repeat over and over...could be the subconscious mind latching on to something, trying to tell the conscious to watch out for something, a message perhaps from our intuition? Yes I think that's definitely it. artlovesdawn, what an amazing message - obviously one that you needed to get loud and clear at the time! IP: Logged |

THis might not make total sense but Celine Dion songs saved my marriage once. And also there is a certain song that always gets played on the radio when im having a real hard time with an issue. I know that if the song comes that everything will be alright. Its not a new song either so its not like they play it all the time.IP: Logged |

Isn't that strange... the night my grandmother died in hospital, we had all gone home and the radio kept playing 'Hymn to Her' by the Pretenders, over and over. Like it got stuck on repeat. And the song had a definite message that resonated with me, about my grandmother's passing that night. "She will always carry on, something is lost, something is found... they will keep on speaking her name, some things change, some stay the same..." The beginning of the song must have strongly affected my mother, because the words were "I'll be your mother from the womb to the tomb..." For days after the song came on the radio a lot and reminded me. I took it as a message from her, that she could still communicate with us. After that, we all had other more obvious experiences that were definitely her making herself known. IP: Logged |

Hi, happens to me too. but in a slightly different way. i wud stumble on an appropriate song just after a similar situation has occurred.I am more inclined to put it down to synchronicity, bcoz in my case it is almost always a new song. like i am going thru a new experience and suddenly chance on a song which is perfect for putting my feelings into words. The most recent example is that of the song 'Brighter than Sunshine' by Aqualung. I heard it the same day as something truly beautiful happened. There's a line in there 'I didn't believe in destiny, I look up you're standing next to me.' Words cannot begin to describe the magic of the moment when that happened. And may be that was precisely the reason I was led to this song. You have to hear it to know what I mean. (and preferably be madly in love too ) That day, my cup just overflowed. IP: Logged |

Yes! Yes! Yes!! Songs also work for me in another (similar) way: sometimes when a particular song or phrase keeps running through my head, I realize that it is giving me insight into my own feelings, of which I may not have been aware. The universe speaks in many ways! IP: Logged |
