LtT, while here, I wondered,
do you perceive Sorrow as a negative or lower level, and Joy a more positive,
higher level?

Lialei.....that was beautiful! You wrote all that yourself?

As for what you ask about joy and sorrow, I think, that while we are on this earth plane, that sorrow is necessary.....

A few times, when I was a small child, before I had become 'hardened', it was while I was praying that I felt this powerful feeling coming into my heart from OUTSIDE of me.....it can only be described as a strong warm feeling, pure light, pure love.....strong enough to leave an impression forever and never forget.

But the more I live, the more and more entangled I feel in my thinking and searching for the meaning to life and the way to get back to where I feel I am from.....

Pain and Sorrow exists but they won't hurt us when we bring our awareness and introspect them. Enlightened Buddha taught the same priciples (is it the four noble truths?) on how to end our sufferings and pains.

When we enter a dark room, the darkness disappears when we turn on the light. Same with Pain, when we increase our awareness, it does not exists.

When we are angry and stop and think for a moment, be aware, we stop the curse that we were about to send a few seconds back.

All these negative energies can be controlled, and it will reflect from our core self or our being. The reason, holy men are shown a halo around them is because they are fully alive, vibrant, controlled their negative energies. Their shakehands are strong not the shaking hands like the dead people do

One way to be happy all the time is to be in the now always. Practice practice practice. Do not think, about tomorrow or day after next week or next month or next year etc. Existence has given us this moment of Now. We must make the most use of it and the future will take care of itself.

The reason that woman touched Jesus's feet or the reason why anyone touches the Master's feet is because those beings are always eternally happy, always in the now, always complete and total.

Jesus is stopping others from interrupting the woman. She just cries and cries aroung his presence. All enlightened beings have the ability to alter the space time around them. And this woman is actually physically touching the Master

The snow outside melts when the sun appears. Similarly our awareness melts our pain and suffering.

Love.

Actually, this puzzle has been coming together simultaneously on another thread- 'on the sufferings of the world' in free-for-all.....and something someone said there.....just finally made everything 'click' into place- and now, i can see how everything else makes sense too.....

Hi ListensToTrees,

I too am very emotional like you
Can we expect our mom and dad to be the same? Dad denotes intellect, mom denotes heart. Their child must have both within us. To a child, dad's logic will sound cold hearted and sometimes mom's compassion will sound to be spoiling a child. There will always be extremes of people here on earth who either like their mom or their dad most and inbetween.

I am not saying that there is only one door for each logic. This infinite universe opens a new door everytime you realize the earlier truth

Do not feel we have to follow the herd?

Sometimes our emotions are so overwhelming that a objective view is necessary other wise we will die in that ego. To not act when a situation needs us to , is considered an ego and to act where no act is required is also an ego. I'm not sure it make sense. Perhaps I need to be eloquent in my thoughts hehehe...

Cheers.

Let me hop over to that thread you mention

Hello again!

To answer your question lialei-
Its not so much think as it is FEEL. Right now, I am elated within my soul. I have uncovered a mystery which has cast a shadow over me since I was very 'young'.....

I can't put it into words- I found the keys to it because I was ready- its a feeling; the meaning BEHIND the words because words are nothing without it. We have to be ready to SEE. When the student is ready, the teacher will appear. We need food for the soul. We needs the keys, but only when we have arrived at the door...as Lialei was saying- in the post called 'Frequencies', the soul must be allowed to evolve naturally at its own pace- interference with this process would hinder, not help.

Mannu- yes, I know what it is you are saying. And yes- realize an EARLIER truth.

Sometimes I feel as though a thousand thoughts would come flooding into my brain after just a hint of knowledge where it had previously been barren through not feeding it- is this osmosis? Why do we forget these things? Why do angels fall? If I climb to a great height now, surpassing by far the shadow of my former self, in a spiritual sense- could I be susceptible to falling...AGAIN? Did Jesus go through this, was he susceptible- but managed to overcome the pressure?

The path of free thinking is a wonderful one- but perhaps the most difficult(?) All the confusion...grey areas...mixed up jigsaw puzzles
but organised religion, in my feeling- is also stifling to development..we need to think, learn, experience, feel for ourselves

I have a few more puzzles to solve now!

Now its time for me to

Love & moonlight to everyOne xxxxx

Yeah great observations. Again there are two types of people, One those who learn from a Master (which is very rare as there are thousands of masters for billions of people ) and the ones who learn from life. The one who learns from life will evolve and realize and then be ready for that transformation.

Indeed this thread has come at a right time, at a time when I introspect myself over the meaning of Easter.

Thank you for sharing with us
ListensToTrees.

I've been sick with the flu the past
few days, so sorry I haven't
responded as well as I would have liked to.
I've been following along,
and this thread as well, has inspired me,
along with a culmination of so many other things that have all come together at this time. (funny how that happens that way).
I understand how you say it is a FEELING.

About the frequencies and the way we affect each other's soul journeys...
I believe that sometimes we jolt each other for the better too. There is equal potential in everything, isn't there? I guess what's saving is how aware we are and how well we've come to know ourselves ~ our own Truth, quiet and everpresently there within us. Just like you mentioned.

nah, Mannu. You're perfectly
eloquent just as you are.

I think I understand, though.
Often, I have a difficult time
expressing what I mean to say,
or I feel like I'm speaking from Neptune or Pluto
and it gets lost in translation.

"Throughout the universe there's a network of wires stretching to infinity. The horizontal wires are placed in space; the vertical in time. Everywhere where these wires cross eachother, there's an individual. And every individual is a crystal bead. The big light of an Absolute Being enlightens and penetrates each crystal bead. And every crystal bead reflects not only the light of all other crystals in the network, but also every other reflection, from all corners of the Cosmos."

Perhaps suffering happens because that's just how we, as humans, perceive it. Suffering is perhaps better described as a 'process of discovery' that is essential and inevitable as part of the human experience. And as humans we feel this process as 'suffering'.

It is akin to breaking out of a cocoon; it may be dark inside and prove hard work to push through into the light but once we do we take on a new form and see our world from a new perspective. Until it is time to go through a transformation and the 'process' starts all over again.

Perhaps this is the eternal journey of Spirit as it grows and evolves and expands?

There is lots of beautiful wisdom in this thread LLT. I too have experienced lows in life due to my sensitivity. Having just dealt with 3 years of medical mystery trials I can now view the period as a painful "gift." I gained positive gifts like compassion, patience, and my voice of self- assertion from my recent experience.
There is a saying something like "pain is inevitable but suffering is optional." I finally decided that I didn't want to be a victim anymore. Mostly, because it wasn't getting me the results I needed to heal and I really needed to heal to move forward. As soon as I released the Universe from my high expectations of how I thought I needed to be treated, an amazing thing happened. My heart opened so that I could simply and freely express love, no strings attached. I now receive an amazing amount of love in return.
Yes it's easy to see all the suffering. I wish it was as easy to see all the mercy in action. Mercy is everywhere and often right beside grace.
I know that I am to be a living expression of grace if it true that your name is your virtue. I feel that I am also here to express joy. (it's in my name too) This is my main purpose for being, I do believe.
I do believe the keys to the kingdom are small and I do find joy in the little things.
I found a little treasure at my magic bookstore on Tuesday. Ray Bradbury's book A Medicine for Melancholy. On the back cover it notes "melancholy can be purged."
I'm an answer lies within person, so I clearly see the words alchemy, holy, heal my ache, just to name a few, hiding in melancholy. So, keep looking for your joy and be on the lookout for mercy and grace and may you discover the abundance of these virtues around you.

Thank you all for posting such beautiful sentiments. This post came up at just the right time for me.

I have been grappling with the idea of pain and suffering and its reality within my life. To a Buddhist it is not real - none of this life is. Yet, as it has been said already it is through our pain and suffering that we grow. I have come to embrace what I feel but to not dwell in it. To not hold onto it so as to use it a crutch for my existence.

It is learning to walk all over again with a gained independnce. I am still shaky now and again but each day I become more stable on these new legs. I use the knowledge from within to keep me going when I don't think I can. It is within that knowledge comes my Faith and the voice of my guides, my angels and God.

I will be knocked down again but I do not look out in the future for it. Now I know have what it takes to raise myself up after the blow and that is what I will take onto the next time and keep with me each and every day.

Blessings to you

Wow, I didn't notice that!

Perhaps the answer to the riddle of suffering, I have been thinking, may also be in understanding how exactly we got here....why. Maybe our world is but one of an infinite number of worlds/ dimensions, and this world we are in is a kind of prison we got enticed into being in. We need to find the way to free ourselves again.
