Hi, can anyone please check pg. 213 of this book, at the bottom of the page where she is talking about 4's. Can you please tell me what she is referring to. I found it very vague, but you might find it differently. I'm changing my name so...

Is she saying if you have a life path of 4, you shouldn't have a 4 in your name??

page 213, and yes that is what she means, but changing name to equal 6 but not by 15, so 24, 33, so on....

or inrease the 8's and avoid 4's...taking in to account, karma, that must be balanced eventually. ...

I was going to change my name to one I had in mind because she says it'll smoothen the incarnation..... but the name i have in mind will have a 4 for the soul urge.....which adds to my Life Path number, which is a 4, to be an 8. And further in her chapter on 4 & 8 she talks about avoiding 4's if you already have a 4. So should I not change my name to what I have in mind? Or am i listening too much to this stuff?

Do you believe in this 8&4 theory? I read another numerologists' site, and she disagrees with it. She says its come about because some people look at the astrological houses and combine it with numerology. Have you personally seen the 8 and 4 people having "hard luck" (as linda goodman says) lives?

my baby brother is a birthday 4 - born on 22nd.
Despite having a good heart, he has had a really rough time throughout his life - one step forwards and two steps back
And is drawn to 4's & 8's too. His last girlfriend was an 8 (birth number) and not only did she have many, many issues of her own, she let him fix herself up emotionally and financially and then broke his heart.

So yeah, 4's & 8's I think there's something to it...

Hmm, artlovesdawn so you are happy and have a good life, yeah? the reply above about the brother who has a hard life made me worry more. But you seem grounded and you have a 4. yeah? Im thinking of changing my name to delete the 8's but another numerologist says the numbers my name would be would not be beneficial because they would be odd numbers.... whereas my destiny is a 4... the numbers in the name would need to be even. (i wrote a post about this below). I am really being bothered by all this. my life is hard, i'm 25, and i'm thinking my life is going to be full of tragedies. is that true? I could post the other numerologists' thoughts about 4 & 8 here if you'd like?

See, Linda Goodman says 4&8 people have hard luck, but to think about it more logically, what you said above makes sense. i kind of take from what she says as things coming at you in life, bad things, that you have no control over. But in essence, it's your choices in life that make you. ??? So it's not as if I'm a target in the wind.

But it's funny you were the same girl in grade school as me. hmm sucked, didn't it?
